My first snowfall experience
I was away on the job to Queenstown last May. It was my second time in Queenstown over my 7th month in New Zealand 🇳🇿.
Queenstown is beautiful. You've just got to live in the beautiful landscape.
On both occasions, it was a drive up the mountains, with my second one being the scariest mountain drive. I will share a video sometime when I have the chance to upload videos.
On our fourth day, it snowed, I was excited about the forecast and looked forward to snowfall.
When it started to snow, I was so excited because it was my first time witnessing snowfall, I made snowballs and played with them 😃
But later it turned out to be a harsh cold day for me as it snowed with winds, and I got cold 🥶
And you know what, not even the snowfall made us stop working, we erected a tent to continue working, lol...
My crazy job, even when it rains, we always have a tent to erect and carry on with work.

In the end I got very cold.
Yeah I wish we just pack up and go when it rains or snow in this case but no, we continue.

I was in Havelock, Bleinheim for the first week, I have now moved to Nelson for the second week. Can't wait to return to Christchurch.
Yes I have been wrapping warm lol, don't want to get sick of cold.
I can imagine. Those weeks away seem long… soon you are back.
Good to hear, here we have a cold spell with every day rain showers from a few hours. End of next week the temperatures go up again.

Quite an experience for us to see snow, was lucky when young we had some in Johannesburg the whole city comes to a standstill.
