The trip to Queenstown was nice and the days there were nicer with the wonderful views.

It was time to drive back to Christchurch and my first stop was at the Clutha River just past the Deadmans Point Lake Dustan Bridge, yes the name of the bridge is that long.

The next stop was Lindis Pass, I love the green mountains, and I had to stop and admire the views and take photographs.

I stopped at Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo, I will be sharing photos.

The green scenery is beautiful with the blue sky on the background! Makes for a good exploration hiking through this lush landscape :)

It's difficult to admire the scenery and focus on the road while driving. Such a beautiful landscape everywhere I look.

Happy New year bro

Countryside is always pretty no matter where one goes, bridge is relatively recent built in 1978.

New dams lost towns, calamity in development, same happened here when building dams for sustainable future.

Nice info about how old the bridge is, you must have done some digging 😉

Talk about calamity, I am getting to know more about the earthquake in Christchurch years back, it is sad but the city is rebuilding gradually.

Happy new year 🤗

No digging simply a quick reminder of places I read about when looking around it ain't that old either!

Earthquake was devastating also not that long ago, slowly building back although I doubt it will ever reach what it once looked like.

Shisanyama experience in an hour or so here 🙃 making you miss a braai !LOLZ
