The Caltex garage opposite this mural is where I often stop to fill up my vehicle when traveling through Milton either towards Southland or back to Christchurch.

The mural located on 135 Union street, Milton is a busy spot. Most of the time there are always vehicles packed in front of the mural. On this day, 19th November, 2025 Union street was less busy so I stopped for these shots that are my entry to this week's contest.

"We will remember them" is a remembrance tribute that is associated with Anzac Day in NZ.

The painting was done by Alice. The red poppies on the white wall certainly looks beautiful

Beautiful poppies on this wall. Poppies have the same meaning here in Canada, for soldiers who fell in battle during the wars. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a great weekend
