First time driving with snow chain ⛓️ fitted

I am not sure what the weather is like in Dunedin at the moment that I am back in Christchurch, but the week ending was wet, with snowfall.

And since we have traveled that far for the job, we fitted snow chains ⛓️ so that we could drive up the mountain.

The challenge is that once we embark on ascending, there is no space to turn, and reversing isn't an option for us.

The snow volume got worse as we drove, and there was no turning back until we found a place to make a turn.

My colleague got stuck twice the second time I tried to pull him out and got stuck myself.

We ended up being rescued. For me, it was a freezing cold day on the mountain, but an adventure I cherished.
