Eyes on the prize | The Opportunistic Seagull

I have shared photos of New Zealand seagulls in the past but I still find them to be beautiful birds even though they are considered as pests by the New Zealand locals.

From experience I can say they are opportunistic birds always around picnic areas with eyes on whatever they can aim to eat.

I was in Oamaru Waterfront last year September when I photographed this lone beautiful sea gull. I just can't help but like these pests of a bird.

Their whiteness is really beautiful, contrast with the grey and black. Looks like one of the serious creatures lol, always about their business :)

They just have the colors that I find attractive, white, grey and red.
