Akaroa Habour
Two days before we resumed work for the year my colleague and I took one more sightseeing drive to Akaroa.
Funny enough it's only been three weeks since we resumed work this year and we are extremely busy we don't even have time to chat let alone go sightseeing. 😃
Our first stop in Akaora was at Banks Peninsula, it was a cloudy day so I struggled to get a better shot.
After our stop here we headed to Main Akaora wharf...
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

The scenery is always awe-inspiring and breathtaking! Any idea what this instrument on the last image is?
It is a stargazing telescope, it is operated by inserting a $2 coin if I remember correctly but I didn't have coins on me on that day, and besides it was during the day.
There are bookings specifically for stargazing where one can enjoy stargazing at night. I haven't made much findings on it yet.

That's cool, I think for best experiences, it can only be use at night when the stars are visible.
Wonderful that the public can have access to this on a very nice and open landscape ideal for the purpose of stargazing.

It is wonderful bro, this is the second stargazing telescope I have seen, the other one was when I did the Gondola ride.
I look forward to stargazing at some point.
