How to Make Martabak Tofu

Well, on this Tuesday, Ema and I will share a snack recipe that is quite interesting and in great demand by Indonesian people. the name of this recipe is tofu martabak, at a glance this tofu martabak has similarities to fried risol or the like, but this recipe has a different filling from fried foods in general. So, for those of you who are interested in this recipe, just take a look at the recipe below until it's finished. good luck Hivers!

Well, the ingredients for making this tofu martabak certainly don't cost much and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. The first ingredients you have to prepare are tofu, spring roll skin, flour, sugar, salt, flavoring, onion, garlic, scallions, celery leaves, carrots, red chilies, cayenne pepper and eggs. after you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start the first step.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare 4 cloves of garlic, 6 cloves of red onion, enough cayenne pepper and enough red chili. then, clean everything until it is completely clean and there is no onion skin left.

the second step, after you have cleaned some of the previous ingredients, then prepare 10 tofu and crush it until completely smooth, then prepare the carrots and cut the carrots into small pieces like the photo above. Next, prepare the leeks and celery leaves, then finely chop the soup leaves and celery leaves until completely smooth.

the third step, after some of the ingredients have been completed, set the ingredients aside. now all you have to do is prepare a blender and put the onion, garlic, red chili and cayenne pepper that you cleaned earlier. Blend until half coarse without using water.

the fourth step, after you have a half-coarse blender, then prepare a frying pan and put a little cooking oil, then stir-fry the chilies that have been in the blender until fragrant over medium heat.

the fifth step, after you have sauteed the chilies until fragrant, then add the carrots that you have finely chopped, add enough water, half a teaspoon of flavoring, half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of sugar. After that, cook and stir until well blended over medium heat. You can adjust the taste to add some other ingredients.

the sixth step, after you have cooked and stirred until well blended, the next thing you have to do is put all the tofu that you have mashed and 2 eggs. after that, stir and cook again until well blended and until the carrots are cooked while still using medium heat.

the seventh step, after the eggs and tofu have been cooked until well mixed, the next thing you have to do is put all the leeks and celery leaves that you have chopped into the pan. after that, cook and stir until the spring onion and celery are well mixed.

the eighth step, after everything is done and cooked, then prepare the spring roll skin and put enough stuffing that is cooked like the photo above. After that, roll the spring roll skin to cover the tofu stuffing. don't forget to glue the ends with flour that has been mixed with water. repeat until the stuffing tofu and spring roll skin is done.

the last step, after all the spring roll skins have been filled with tofu stuffing, the next thing you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put enough cooking oil into the pan. Then, put the spring rolls one by one into the frying pan and fry until all sides are brown on medium heat.

and finally, you can serve martabak tofu for your friends or family. In order to eat martabak tofu more delicious, you can prepare chili sauce or cayenne pepper. it tastes really very delicious when eaten while the martabak tofu is hot.
