Uniting the archaic and technological artistic process

It all starts when we put time aside and let ourselves be led to improvised bars under good rhythm

black matter.GIF

If I'm stuck in the past I'm melancholic, if I'm black in the future I'm anxious, that we're stuck in the present, in yoga under good inclination of the past and trust in the future.

yo. Good morning hive community of photographers and artists. Today I'm going to share with you part 2 of an artistic process that I've been carrying out for a few years called cyanotype, and how it evolved to transform into the following images in the article.

I recommend reading an "(Discovery) Negative Photographic Print, Chromotherapy 🎨" here in the community talking a little about one of the stages of the process which is negative printing and how this helped artistic areas such as cinema and audiovisual.

Tree of Life. Transforming blue into green with 1 hour of exposure in water.

In the art above I discovered that the PH of the water and the exposure time in it also have a lot of influence on the final color of the process. Previously, I thought more about the time of exposure to sound and the percentage of chemicals present in the solution, but after my tree filled with plants from my garden reached its green color organically, it was incredible.
rabbits (2).gif
DARKrabbits. Abstract art forming fillings of dancing possessed rabbits, printed with botanicals from my garden.

This is an example of art that I really like to perform, basically taking a brush and drawing with the chemicals as if they were paints, then the drawing created with the fusion of the chemicals will acquire the shadow of the element on display, for example, if We would draw a heart with chemicals and display a photograph on top, we would photo-engrave it in the shape of a heart.

shushumnARDRP, authentic photo-engraved art with botanicals, Official Airdrop Culture Logo behind water hypercycle, with ideagram.

The Chinese ideagram on the side reserves a secret between the meaning of the words and the positioning of the lines in the ideagram, drawing a philosophical and subtle conclusion. I recommend trying it. Translation of words:

  1. Water
  2. Word
  3. Power
  4. River
  5. Criticism

In the art above, I have been surfing on a paradisiacal beach on the north coast of São Paulo, called Praia do Felix. The board model used in the photo is Sweet Amnesia, a very crazy and very fast asymmetrical board. This sequence became cyan-based art for Airdrop Culture and currently a more punk version for the @gnars community.

munenMUSO, Art drawn with a cyanotype brush, photoengraved with flowers, and magenta tone, contrasting the blue, highlighting the act of no action.

"Munen Muso" is a Japanese expression that can be translated as "no desires, no attachment" in English. It is used in philosophies such as Zen Buddhism to describe a mental state of detachment, where someone is not tied to material desires or attachments. This is related to the idea of living in the present moment, accepting things as they are, without clinging to past concerns or future desires.

In the context of Zen Buddhism, Munen Muso is often associated with the practice of meditation and mindfulness, where one seeks to achieve a state of calm and balanced consciousness, free from the distractions and worries that can arise from excessive desires and attachments.

This expression reflects an approach to life that emphasizes simplicity, acceptance and the search for inner peace through freedom from desires and attachments that often cause us suffering and anxiety.

coinBALL, art with Spectro ARDRP, authentic photo-engraved with flowers by Domingos Martins, on top of a character made by ''coin'' Caio Schwartz.
The world is yours.

I consider this art to be an almost complete version of interactive art in cyanotype, all that was missing was a photograph print, but the drawing, the botanical elements, the colors, the composition, I loved it, and you?

ludwig.GIF
ludwingBET, cyanotype pigmentation technique Lightweight Coated Paper 45g of Ludwig Van Bethoven Sonata, made by Thomas Baryle. Bush from a stream in a cemetery in Poggibonsi Tuscany, under the left side of Ludwing's face.

It was a great challenge to carry out this printing in cyanotype as the paper must be immersed in water in order to remove the chemicals, but the paper was very thin and would tear if exposed to water. So I threw in some splashes of chemical, and after it was photo-etched in the sun, I threw in a few splashes of water to wash it in a subtle way, but it wasn't completely dry and it formed a kind of purple, an effect related to the chemical in contact with water without having been completely absorbed by the paper.

flowerOFFERING framed, in square sonic pulsation. 10 minutes of exposure to sound, contrast technique.

In this collection of dynamic arts that have become NFTs, we celebrate the importance of archaic artistic processes such as cyanotype, as well as the relevance that nature has during the creative process. Authentic arts made with the study of photographic printing with botany, sun exposure, scanning and digital finishing. Nature is the best teacher and time is a great spectrum for us to connect and have fluid learning and achievements.

I hope you all enjoyed the photographs above, that I may have shared something innovative that sparks good things for you. Until the next photography article 💦

Nos fios do tempo, dança a arte ancestral,
Sábios traços, segredos do passado a contar,

Assim, estudar é tecer fios do presente e do porvir,
Nas linhas do passado, a essência a discernir,
Em cada obra, um eco do eterno a reluzir,
Poetizando a arte, o passado e o futuro a se unir.

In the threads of time, the ancestral art dances,
Wise traits, secrets from the past to tell,
In harmony, the old and the new intertwine,
Each brushstroke, a story to unravel.

Respect the journey of the masters of yesterday,
It's drinking from the source, where the soul is restored,
In the colors of tradition, dreams are renewed,
And on the wings of the future, new horizons unravel.

Thus, studying is weaving threads of the present and the future,
In the lines of the past, the essence to discern,
In each work, an echo of the eternal shining,
Poeticizing art, the past and the future to come together.

Fuck yeah! Some of the coolest art that I've seen to date on this website. I appreciate the total immersion into analogue printing process and the beautiful unpredictability of it. Creates such a dope natural aesthetic. Super interesting stuff.
Also it's rad to see someone experimenting with asymmetrical surfboards on here. Those photos are steezy as. The layout just enhances it.
You have a new follower and fan :)

Blessings! Haven't been on hive in a while so only just saw this.
Love the concept of underground trippy art, grimy punk shit, representing a deeper truth that is larger than ourselves. I think you're on to something. And it's probably why the art and music which is so pure can power me up and give me so much strength for my own life and expressions.
Epic stuff. Thanks for your compliments too. Much love.
I surf a little bit! Way more into skating though. I just love going fast.
