Sub-Tropical Autumn
April Rain Washed Fresh And Clean
Capturing life after some rain fell left the sun shining brightly under clear blue sky today, late rains, weather starting to feel cooler a joy to wonder outside capturing nature.
Summer rainfall season slowly fading as Autumn arrives heralding in our dry season. Living sub-tropical coastal we seldom have distinct change in leaves, more of a relief for me from heat and humidity.
Late fruiting Guavadilla (Passion fruit) I doubt will fully develop, months of plenty now a battle not having the hot days to swell them to sizeable fruits, many flowers will drop without bearing fruit at all.
Native to tropical America the Bhudda belly plant (Jatropha podagrica) is still in flower, looks very much at home here in my garden thriving in full sun, love the name it is apt in description.
More than likely a poisonous little mushroom, only one sprung up in the lawn after rainfall, no idea what fungi this is except pretty against the green blades of grass, lone ranger....
Butterfly enjoying the early morning sun sipping on Curry tree flowers, at a guess an African Monarch (Danaus Chrysippus aegyptius) float like a butterfly sting like a bee. It's colouration mimicked by several other species due to it's poisonous nature.
Powder-puff Tree (Barringtonia racemosa) I don't have in the garden this I enjoyed walking along the river, their pungent smell when flowers fall from the trees making a carpet around their feet relates to odour found mangrove bushes.
Very showy flowers, elegant pink-tinged stamens with ant enjoying nectar flowing down the stamen within, this capture for macro photography round 76 on @hive-153349 with PhotoFeed.

Thank you for kind comment and have a lovely day!
Thanks to you ☺️
Very nice photos. An interesting flower, Buddha belly plant, looks like coral.
Couple of plants could double up for coral, each interesting with stunning flower. Have a great day!
Very beautiful flowers in your garden, Spring is really Springing over there 😁
Jasmin bush is in full bloom with petals on the ground white like snow at the moment, often I think we get more flowers in Autumn and Winter yet it really is year round.
Beautiful shots
SA must be flaunting its autumn 🍂 beauty as well before the cold days arrive.

Winter all the Aloe flowers appear, golden shower and many more, sometimes I think our winters offer more flowers than summer.
