Spring'in Southern Hemisphere

Berries ripened during the winter, with spring an abundance of food, seed on grasses now ready to float off or be taken by birds, tis the month of September through to November when spring is here in the South.

Amazing photographs. It is the same here in Pretoria. Almost overnight, the trees have turned green and purple. It is amazing how quickly everything changed.

Our trees become a burnt orange with new leaves, not all a good few that a delightful to see in early morning sunlight.

We skipped winter in Durban, up your way as well by what I've heard, not sure whether we get the cold weather arrive late again with snow in October.

What a delight for the eyes! I have some slight colourblindness going on with my eyes, so I might see things a bit differently.

I hear things in the Cape is still really cold. We will be flying back home over the weekend, so will see how cold things are. Always a chance to get more snow, as we had some snow in November a couple of years ago! We called it Snow-vember all those years ago.

Really look forward to some more cold before heat of summer returns, 20mm rain last night first good falls to break the dry, along with thunder in the background.

That is good news, rain is scarce. I hear it is raining a bit in PTA but still very dry. We returned to the Cape now for a while and it is cold here. Good summer day today, but you can feel the cold in the air.

Rain over the weekend, still some gentle rains passing through, fresh chill which I enjoy, more talk of more snow inland makes me happy!

I see that some of the snow is so bad that people cannot drive any longer! That is really scary how quickly nature can turn around. Cape is still cold, with some rains, but getting warmer by the day.

Upcoming weekend more snow predicted, must be another cold front still coming through don't put the jackets away just yet!

Weather cycles alter, had similar conditions in earlier years around this time of year.

Strange weather really. Had a couple of good days here in the cape and it feels like winter all over again. Cold and wet weather. We are going to have a late summer!

Events happen that never reach 'media' today, selling the idea they prefer "climate change for human control."

Just look at who owns the media. Select few who control the narrative.

You have to source information and question all the time.

Unfortunately, the truth. Spreading dis-information has become so easy these days, with people never critically thinking about things.

Spring everything speeds up, even for slow moving Durban. People coming out to enjoy some time relaxing, many playing sports it's as if everyone decides it's the start to something new. Thanks for visiting and wishing you a wonderful day.

Different seasons not as evident as places with harsh change, it arrives quietly with change in flora and fauna, general mood of humans is evident as well.
