Whirlpools of Life

Where there is matter, there is geometry - Johannes Kepler

Not a subject I enjoyed totally during schooling, yet as one starts looking around you realize how very much these topics affect life everywhere, just looking around, taking time to find out.

Old Lady Cactus (Mammillaria hahniana) in flower, simply looking into the heart one can see the magic in this easy to grow plant, needs little attention and does love the sun.

This fun cactus with the somewhat unflattering name is adorable! This clumping cactus has stunning spines and texture with lots of wispy white hairs. Teeny hot pink flowers appear in a ring around the top. Source

Haworthiopsis Fasciata - Zebra Plant something to protect you by warding off evil spirits by our Zulu tradition, easy to grow with little to no maintenance required, Eastern Cape is literally down the road, very much at home in my garden in many spaces looking after me.

Haworthiopsis attenuata ‘Zebra plant’ is a local hero, indigenous to the Eastern Cape. They are from the same subfamily as aloe and are equally eye-catching in appearance with pointy leaves and zebra-like white stripes. Grown both indoors and out, this succulent is next on your summer adoption list! Zebra plant

Also learned there is spectral geometry in the clouds, one is never too old to learn so many things we know nothing about yet take for granted, young minds should be absorbing information, if you have children or grand-children start them young in nature, not only learning from what technology offers but what is readily around us to teach.

Stumbled across this content that I found most interesting for those who enjoy learning more, The Geometry Of Plants

Stay informed and stay tuned into another new week for us to enjoy in on anothers good company. A little of this and little of that have a great Sunday.

Today is #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108

Never too old to learn, just a pity that the new things that I learn is forgotten the very next day.

👍Cacti are very unusual! They're monotonous spiky on one side, but if they bloom, this beautiful flower will please the eye.

Interesting about the geometry, it was one of my favorites in school. Geometry in plants interests me. I will be checking it out.
