Inspiration Motivation Moves Through My Garden

Life As I Know It

Collecting coffee in the morning, greeting lost butterfly indoors not the place to be, with a little maneuvering out the window, freedom once again.

Cheeky the Whydah bird is back starting to change into formal mating gear, given a week he will be performing in top gear chasing everyone off the feeder again. We will watch his transition for fun, for now he appears to be wishing he was ready!

Monkeys are not bothered by me, I am allowed a portrait from about three foot off the garden path, handsome, cute, naughty all wrapped up into one.

Evening light facing East, reflecting gold rays of the sun over the flat topped African trees, leaves now dropping to be immediately replaced by new life. We conjure up ways to attempt living an eternity, no everything has a time and place through the seasons we cover.

Lets take a peep around the corner to see the red rubber ball going down in the West, today was exceptionally windy, a sublime Sunday always with life around the garden.

Moments like this are positive in impacting our life, small glimpse of life as I know it on a daily basis, walking regularly, pure relaxation, exposing whatever I find.

I am forever amazed by your photography skills, @joanstewart! Also, the incredible natural wonders around you. We do not have wild monkeys in North America. Not fair! This is a truly lovely post. It made my day!

So lovely to greet you once again, being outdoors with visitors in the garden is what keep me on my toes.

Young males in a troop of monkeys find a spot to check the path ahead before the rest follow, great idea in nature I need similar with the problems we encounter here...

And I am thinking why that butterfly didn't flew away when you tried to capture, because the one i tried to take picture of always fly away.

By the way pictures are really good as usual.
You along with some other hivers bless my feed with good pictures often.

No need to touch the butterfly simply open windows and gently guide them out. During heat of the day ours take flight more often than not, it is a patience game.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful week. !PIZZA

Well in my childhood, I used to catch them and play with them. But now I am mature, Lolz.

One mulberry tree in the garden, a shoe box full of silk worms, hours of fun feeding, cleaning and watching them 😇

The more you bred and looked after them the more you could barter with friends, good old days!

Barter...😅
I like this word. It actually work in this way.

Yup about 15 worms for a lollipop or chewing gum not something we had money for, so doing barter was our trading mechanism.

My goodness you live in a beautiful place! Exotic to me. Love the red rubber ball shot, it's very expressive. Takes me places. Nice.

Monkeys move between the homes a couple of times a day, always in search of food.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

He sat on the fence pole I carried on after a photo shoot, he remained unflustered by me going past.
