Free Fall
Destined Fate
"Destiny is what you create for yourself. Fate is when you fail to create your own destiny."
I cannot help but feel people are not typical in behaviour, sometimes life gets into a free fall when listening to what is going on in the world, known to speak with whatever is around I share the last of May as we gracefully bid farewell to another month.
Dainty butterfly feeding, gently pollinating carrying pollen from one flower to another, would life in humans not be wonderful if gently we touched one another, growing the next rather than ripping asunder?
Each has a preference, to plant or region, silently tend to get along with final destiny in their sights. Are we wrong voicing opinions learned, an attempt to assist, simply shrugged off.
Feisty Drongo spending time along the same line as Weaver bird, one will scoop off eating insects captured in flight, weaver resting after enjoying seeds, no dominance one over the other knowing their fate shall never be sharing a nest together.
Woody on the other hand, should he catch a mole, try stop him, it's in his nature perhaps larger would win the day, but who knows those moles have many tunnels, sensitive to movement will retreat underground at high speed, do we listen?
Perhaps our game is building a web so big we swamp all who try attain a level of independence by killing off lateral thinking. Roll them up in the web of deceit draining life blood as commanded by those abusing power.
Wild flowers now adorn every road in town, countryside warm and comforting, tomorrow is officially winter's start, look how brilliant everything is.
End of day birds homeward bound, screaming their last calls of the day, free falling part of their destined fate being a noisy bird that is for sure.
Cotton-wool clouds hang in last rays of light, our days end earlier and will continue for awhile. Goodbye month of May, June now on the horizon with Sardine Run announced touching the southern coast life is destiny, remember to create your own.
Have a beautiful day/evening/night!

It has been raining all day here, so your last day of summer sure is better than our last day of spring lol
I love your shots of butterflies, here there are not that many at all!
We could do with some rain, dry spell once again.
Grand variety of butterflies around at the moment, always difficult to capture in photography, constantly on the move.
Well we have had a weekend of rain, I think it has rained as much in these three days as the last three months!
Yeah float like a butterfly and not easy to capture.
Summer you may have sun again soon, then complain about humidity. We fickle humans can't always get what we want.
Too wet too dry too hot too cold, always something wrong 🤣
Then the wheels fall off and we wonder why....
so very true
Now to grumble again, still loads of clearing to do both paperwork and other charming chores to complete, not charming!
We ended May with celebrating my birthday yesterday. Now come June with colder weathers in both NZ and SA.
Am loving the web 🕸 shot 📸

Life through natures lens and your musings always brings a smile to my face and a flurry of thoughts too. June is here and another season begins for us both. Stay well, Joan.
Turbulence of live with constant change does keep us on our toes. Have a lovely day.
How beautiful the wildlife is there. It must have been wonderful to see these precious creatures pollinate those flowers. I love butterflies, there are some beautiful specimens.
Have a beautiful Sunday afternoon, dear friend @joanstewart
This time of the year always mild temperature to enjoy, normally full sunshine throughout the days with butterflies and wild flowers everywhere.
Harsh, but very beautiful country. Have a wonderful day and love to the family.
Hello, @joanstewart, good afternoon.
It's incredible how the days fly by. It's hard to believe we're halfway through the year. What beautiful photographs you chose to welcome this new month.
What beautiful butterflies! I love clouds. My grandparents and I look at the sky and guess what shape they form.
Beautiful shots.
Life goes quickly, savour each minute we have. Always enjoy being outdoors where surprises are around every corner.
KZN never fails to amaze me every winter with all the colourful flowers, even on the side of the road, like those yellow flowers (Google lens says they're tree marigolds?) There are so many that are flowering on the M7 at the moment, it looks lovely!
I hope you're keeping well, Joan <3
Along most the roads these tree marigolds are in full bloom make a spectacular sight.
Coastline is busy with sardine run, sure your BnB will be booked, either for Comrades on Sunday or those who love the coast at this time of year. Runners are not going to be happy with snow falling on the Berg over the weekend, will make it wet or cold or both.
Either way I am brewing up a nice pot of pea and ham soup, something not made in a couple of years. Catching up with some fiddly bits and start major clean out once I get into more cupboards. You know the story, take care and keep smiling.
Yep!
Thank goodness bookings have picked up again, been quiet but enough to keep us going, so I shouldn't complain. I think the weekend guests are coming for Comrades, sounds like it's going to be a cold and wet run!
I'm eating soup right now, put a pot on yesterday, always makes enough for leftovers. Sudden warm wind here means cold ahead!
Take care, Joan! Enjoy Comrades (I'll be watching on TV)
