Flabbergasted - A Sublime Sunday With Birds And Flowers

Laugh Or Cry

The show goes on, no time as I once did to follow Hive Fest, always enjoyed listening into event.

Rising early working through days, weeks now months I'm exhausted now reaching a point of not knowing whether to laugh or cry at the amount of work needing to be achieved around the home. No posts throughout the week on Hive, simply popping in to meet, greet and support whenever I am able.

Mental disengagement walking around the garden watching life on the move, pontificating events staying positive where possible, perhaps once the house is complete, much sorting done, time will become more available to relax once again.

Extreme joy birds bring now their young starting to arrive more confident, it would be rewarding knowing we people are heading down the right path in life. Only assurance one is able to muster to doing right by friend and foe.

She is dressed with little polka dots, completely different birds share together, male sparrow happy to keep finch company while never trying to make advances, birds stick to the same feather, they are not racist.

Zoom into both enjoying seed within the ring of banter, while we ramble on about clutter....

f/6.9 - 1/200 sec - ISO 800 : House Sparrow

In plain sight we watch coming and goings in life some show...., blend in a little easier!

Others hide not wishing to be involved, which way to go...

Keep eyes and ears open to deceitful web being weaved around, carry on as per normal, change will arrive.

Flabbergasted..., no more by news, follow true north in nature, it's where we become one with all. Wishing you a wonderful week, I'm here,** although busy I will continue to pop in daily!

Good afternoon dear friend @joanstewart
I'm sorry you're so busy working hard on your home, the good thing about that is that when you finish the remodeling it will be a huge satisfaction.
How great to spend time in nature and enjoy beautiful flowers and birds
Have a great and prosperous week

View or trade LOH tokens.

@joanstewart, You have received 1.0000 LOH for posting in Ladies of Hive. We believe that you should be rewarded for the time and effort spent in creating articles. The goal is to encourage token holders to accumulate and hodl LOH tokens over a long period of time.

I agree. Animal watching, or just walking in nature, gives calmness and satisfaction.

Nature calms, taking your mind off the real world, no matter how far or short it all adds up.

I guess down South everything is coming to life where up here everything is getting autumnal.

You and I seem to have had busy past week that allowed very limited time on Hive.
I am attempting to photograph birds recently whenever I see any in close range, I must say it hasn't been easy 😅 you have been doing great with the shots.

Time very limited with moving, cleaning and Vusi painting and fixing, coffee and sandwiches in between. Shock to the system up so early every morning 😂

Birds don't sit still for very long it takes some patience and time, takes your mind completely off of everything except what you focusing on....

Sometimes these mental disengagement are important. These are very beautiful shots. I wonder how you get so close to take them, unless with zoom in your lens

Sometimes when lucky the birds may be a few foot away, or zoom is required on my handy little pocket camera which has become an extension of my arm.

Very beautiful birds and indeed it's their season, just like everything else.
Happy you could pop in every now and then to say hi. 😁

Wonderful rainfall right on start of summer season, birds being well fed and looked after outdoors. Have a brilliant day, always in nature.

it's funny you should say that. I've been waking to the chatter of a far larger variety of birds lately. Sometimes it's just lovely to close your eyes and listen to them <3

As long as both are happy, contented in what one does. We definitely get to an age where time, space is required after all these years, simply content knowing each is close or doing something they enjoy.
