Mientras buscaba algunas imágenes para participar en otro concurso de escuelas del mundo, no pude evitar ver la fotografía con el rostro de la niña que tomamos en unos de los últimos eventos en el colegio de mi nieta; se trataba de un evento patrio, y cuando eso sucede, en mi ciudad las personas salen a la calle para conmemorar el hecho histórico
While I was looking for some images to participate in another world school contest, I couldn't help but see the photo with the girl's face that we took in one of the last events in my granddaughter's school ; It was a patriotic event, and when that happens, in my city people take to the streets to commemorate the historic event
Los correntinos somos personas patriotas, y nos encanta demostrar a través de nuestras vestimentas celeste y blanca, o portar la bandera que nos representan en el mundo. Este tipo de eventos es una buena excusa para salir a la calle y disfrutar de la alegría de las personas al conmemorar este tipo de eventos patrios
We Corrientes are patriotic people, and we love to demonstrate through our light blue and white clothing, or carry the flag that represents us in the world. This type of event is a good excuse to go out and enjoy the joy of people commemorating this type of national event
A pesar de ser un fin de semana, las calles tenía mucha presencia de personas que manifestaban su alegría al conmemorar el día de nuestra independencia. Nuestros antepasados tuvieron que hacer mucho sacrificio para lograr nuestra independencia, y lo menos que podemos hacer es salir a las calles a conmemorar estos hechos históricos. Despite being a weekend, the streets were full of people expressing their joy at commemorating our independence day. Our ancestors had to make a lot of sacrifice to achieve our independence, and the least we can do is take to the streets to commemorate these historical events.
