Celebratory studio photos for Sonia | monomad challenge.
Hi, friends. I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I’m here to show you some photos of my client Sonia. She’s the mom of another client whose daughter I often photograph (whom you’ll also see here), I’ve shown you some of my work with her before. We did a family photo shoot together a few months ago, and that’s where I met her mom for the first time. Today she’s back here for a new photo shoot. Since it was her birthday, she didn’t want to include balloons or her age—instead, she wanted to use photos or elements that would make it clear this was a unique birthday shoot. she thought very carefully about the visual style and the concept she wanted for the photos. These photos came together pretty quickly and were a bit crazy—endless ideas—but the truth is that the session was also barely planned. We were just talking, and before we knew it, we were already setting a date for the shoot, that’s how fast and precise it was, and it wasn’t a long lead time—it was literally the very next day after we decided to do it, and then the day arrived, Sonia said she didn't have much experience, and we spent the first couple of hours talking about all sorts of things in general—that's why it took us so long to get started. We really hit it off, and that's really great, too—being able to build that connection with clients or models during the sessions. After a while, we decided to go with the style she had in mind, and in the end, it all came together. We did it, and that's how this awesome session turned out.
Hola amigos, espero hayan tenido un excelente fin de semana, hoy estoy acá para mostrarles las fotografías de mi clienta Sonia, es la mamá de una clienta a la cual menudamente le hago fotos (que verán aquí también, su hija), ya anteriormente les he mostrado algunos resultados de trabajos con ella, se realizó una sesión hace unos meses conmigo que fueron familiares y allí conocí por primera vez a su mama y hoy está nuevamente aquí haciéndose una sesión fotográfica nueva, como ella estaba cumpliendo años pero no quiso poner globos ni la edad si no representar con fotos o algo que se pudiera identificar por ser una sesión diferente de cumpleaños, ella pensó muy bien en la vista de la fotografía y la lógica que quería para ellas, estas fotografías fueron bastante rápidas y algo súper loco, un sin fin de cosas pero la verdad es que la sesión también fue poco planificada, estamos hablando y de un momento a otro ya estábamos pautando fecha para hacer la sesión, así de rápido y preciso, y no fue una pauta a mucho dar, literal fue al día siguiente que decidimos hacerla y el día llegó, Sonia decía no tener la experiencia y pasamos alrededor de las primeras dos horas hablando de muchas cosas en general, por eso nos tardamos tanto para iniciar nos caímos muy bien y eso es super genial también, poder establecer ese lazo con los clientes o modelos en las sesiones, después de tanto decidimos empezar con el estilo que ella tenía y al final se dio, la hicimos y así fue como resultó esta sesión tan genial.

¡Un resultado increíble para una sesión con tan poca planificación! Lograste una atmósfera muy cómoda y eso se nota en la fluidez de las poses.
Me gusta mucho el manejo del blanco y negro en este esquema de estudio. La iluminación tan suave cuida muy bien las sombras y conserva textura en los blancos del vestido sin llegar a quemarlos. La foto madre e hija tiene un valor emocional y compositivo excelente. ¡Gran trabajo!
