Gosh!... I need to confess I have thoroughly enjoyed editing the photographs for this publication sharing for me today... And the thing is, selecting the photo, matching the RAW with I'm thinking, trying to make the photograph go beyond the image itself... All of this is a lovely thing to do...

Santos cielos!... Tengo que confesar que he disfrutado a mares editar las fotografías para esta publicación que estoy compartiendo hoy... Y es que, seleccionar la foto, aparejar el RAW con lo que estoy pensando, intentar hacer que la fotografía vaya más allá de la imagen en sí... Todo eso es algo encantador de hacer...

Street photography in a small town far away from everything like this one, takes on a different meaning than street photography in big cities... Here you have to work with tiny scenes, sometimes imperceptible because are "hidden" in the everyday.

La fotografía de calle en un pueblo pequeño y alejado de todo como este, cobra un sentido distinto a lo que quizás sea la fotografía de calle en ciudades grandes... Aquí hay que trabajar con escenas diminutas, algunas veces imperceptible por estar "escondidas" en lo cotidiano.

This time I didn't skimp on the brightness (I usually take slightly underexposed photos, I like them that way) nor the saturation in the colour versions... I sat down at my PC and selected these 8 photos and processed them in their entirety with Adobe Camera Raw, always being generous by shifting the histogram to the right... I wanted to see them and it ends up with a lot of light... So I exported them to the final JPGs.

Esta vez no escatimé la luminosidad (suelo hacer fotos ligeramente subexpuestas, me gustan así) ni la saturación en las versiones en color... Me senté en mi PC y seleccioné estas 8 fotos y las procesé en su totalidad con Adobe Camera Raw siempre siendo generoso llevando el histograma hacia la derecha... Las quería ver y termina con mucha luz... Así las exporté a los JPG definitivos.

For the black and white versions, I simply desaturated in Photoshop, made new levels adjustments with an adjustment layer until I got what I wanted, then I added a 3% yellow toning layer because I wanted to give them that "Vintage Black and White" look to the photos... I love how they look like this!...

Para el blanco y negro simplemente desaturé en Photoshop, hice nuevos ajustes de niveles con una capa de ajustes hasta lograr lo deseado, posteriormente agregué una capa de tonalidad de 3% en amarillo porque deseaba darles esa apariencia de "Blanco y Negro vintage" a las fotos... ¡Amo como se ven así!...

Final adjustments like straightening and adding watermarks were done with PhotoScape 3.6.1.... And voila!... I had before my eyes a delightful display of my street photographs in colour and black & white!... I have loved this result.

Los ajustes finales como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua los realicé con PhotoScape 3.6.1.... Y ¡voalá!... Tuve ante mis ojos una deliciosa muestra de fotografias de mis calles en color y Blanco y negro!... He amado este resultado.
