Hello dear #Hive monochromatic friends!.... Bolívar street in Montalbán is also its main street and has two well defined areas, one facing west and is the oldest part of the town and the side facing east where the structures are more recently built. This post contains a handful of shots taken precisely from the east side along that street and some of the avenues that cross it. Curiously, here in town the "streets" tend to be wider and two-way and the avenues are narrow and one-way. But considering that in this town "everything is upside down" then perhaps it was to be expected that even those names would be reversed.

La calle Bolívar de Montalbán es también su calle principal y tiene dos zonas bien definidas, una que da hacia el Oeste y es el casco más viejo del pueblo y el lado que da hacia el Este en donde las estructuras son de más reciente construcción. Este post contiene un puñado de fotografías hechas precisamente del lado Este por esa calle y algunas de las avenidas que la cruzan. Curiosamente, aquí en el pueblo las "calles" suelen ser más amplias y de doble sentido de circulación y las avenidas son angostas y con único sentido de circulación. Pero tomando en cuenta que en este pueblo "todo está patas arriba" entonces quizás era de esperarse que incluso esas denominaciones estuviesen invertidas.

It's a different urban space to the one I'm used to photographing on the west side, here the photographic work - except for a few occasions - is more impersonal, more of a "shot from afar" type and with less intimate details to photograph whether it's people or objects. However, I also find a lot of pictures to take and I just need to make a "little psychic adjustment" to start shooting without wanting to stop.

Es un espacio urbano distinto a el cual acostumbro a fotografiar en el lado Oeste, aquí la el trabajo fotográfico -salvo contadas ocasiones- es más impersonal, más del tipo "disparo desde lejos" y con menos detalles íntimos para fotografiar ya se trate de gente o de objetos. Sin embargo, también encuentro un montón de fotos por hacer y me basta solo con hacer un "pequeño ajuste psíquico" para comenzar a disparar fotos sin querer detenerme.

I usually come to this part of town when I want to take photos in a more relaxed way. Here there is a kind of "visual chaos" of a slightly more urbanised space. So it's practically impossible to look for specific spaces, as everything gives the impression of being more disordered, which makes me feel that I must (can) shoot the photo with a certain freedom that comes from the lack of a more flattering or cleaner angle. So it's kind of delightful, as I feel like I'm on the hunt for more "hopelessly happening as it happens" scenes... I know this all sounds a bit strange, but I'm trying to expose it so that the nature and concept of these particular street photos can be understood... Also... I always say some crazy things in my posts!... Right? :)) So this is another one of those.... :))

Suelo venir a esta zona del pueblo cuando quiero hacer fotos de una manera más relajada. Aquí hay una especie de "caos visual" propio de un espacio levemente más urbanizado. Entonces es prácticamente imposible dedicarse a buscar espacios específicos, pues todo da la sensación de estar más desordenado, eso hace que yo siente que debo (puedo) disparar la foto con cierta libertad proveniente de la no existencia real de un ángulo más favorecedor o limpio. Entonces es algo delicioso, pues me siento en franca cacería de escenas más "irremediablemente ocurriendo como ocurren"... Sé que todo esto suena algo extraño, pero intento exponerlo para que se entienda la naturaleza y el concepto de estas fotos callejeras en particular... Además... ¡Yo siempre digo algunas cosas locas en mis post!... ¿Cierto? :)) Entonces esta es otra más de esas... :))
