TWO DOGS, TWO CATS AND THREE PAREIDOLIAS... (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES)
Okay, I suppose the title of this post seems a little odd. And not precisely because of the "two dogs and two cats," which are photographic subjects I usually share with you, but rather because of the "three pareidolias." That might lead you to assume I'm the kind of guy who tends to "see faces in things that aren't faces" 😂 And let me confirm that yes, it does happen to me that I can see faces in things like tree bark, clouds, cracks in walls, scrap metal, plant leaves, and so on. And among my photos today, you'll find three recent examples of this...
Bien, supongo que el título de esta publicación parece un poco raro. Y no precisamente por los "dos perros y los dos gatos" que son sujetos fotográficos de los cuales generalmente comparto con ustedes, pero sí por lo de las "tres pareidolias", pues eso puede hacerlos suponer que soy una especie de tipo que tiende a estar "viendo rostros en cosas que no lo son" 😂 y permítanme confirmarles que sí, que efectivamente me pasa que puedo ver rostros en cosas como cortezas de árboles, nubes, grietas de paredes, chatarra, hojas de plantas y así sucesivamente, y entre mis fotos de hoy encontrarán tres ejemplos recientes de esto...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7

Well, I must tell you that I see pareidolia too, so there isn’t just one odd person here now, but two. I once knew someone who even made videos on this sort of topic, claiming that it wasn’t things we were seeing, but rather faces left behind by someone, or perhaps faces peering out from parallel universes or something similar. But yes, I usually see the same things you do. Interesting, because that leaf didn’t scare me, nor did the pumpkin, but the tree is worthy of a horror story!
But, you know that the winners are the adorable kittens looking at me tenderly, although today the dogs aren’t far behind. As always, an excellent photographer – you’re a genius. Thanks for the quality of your work and for more pareidolia! A big hug!🤗
