Sometimes street photography is a simple thing, it is something revealing, and it can even be said that it is "something that isolates us powerfully"...

A veces la fotografía de calle es una cosa simple, es algo revelador, e inclusive puede decirse que es "algo que nos aísla poderosamente"...

These are photographs in continuous days, always during the early morning hours, always with weather where the fog is present, something typical during the rainy months in this region.

Estas son fotografías en días continuos, siempre durante las primeras horas de la mañana, siempre con clima en donde la niebla está presente, algo típico durante los meses de lluvia en esta región.

The old 50mm prime lens attached to my camera allows me to absorb all the light I need without having to worry too much about shutter speed and ISO.... It's a bright enough lens to allow me to work with apertures of F/5 and ISO of 320. 📷

El viejo lente de focal fija 50mm atachado a mi cámara, permite absorber toda la luz necesaria sin tener yo que preocuparme demasiado por la velocidad de obturación ni por el ISO... Es un lente lo suficiente brillante como para permitirme trabajar con aperturas de F/5 e ISO de 320. 📷

I've been taking pictures on these streets for almost two decades.... Before, when I was a guy with a schedule, an office job and other spiritual burdens that I don't want to name, I went out to take pictures only every other Sunday... But as the years have gone by, I've been sending a lot of my "responsibilities" to hell and now I can practically go out almost every day to do this... It seems to me that I'm finally a fucking "free soul" in spite of the people around me... 😐

He estado haciendo fotos en estas calles por casi dos décadas... Antes, cuando era un tipo con un horario, un trabajo de oficina y otros lastres espirituales que no quiero nombrar, salía a hacer fotos solo uno que otro Domingo... Pero con el paso de los años, he estado mandando al demonio muchas de mis "responsabilidades" y ahora prácticamente puedo salir casi a diario a hacer esto... Me parece que soy por fin una jodida "alma libre" muy a pesar de la gente alrededor... 😐

The 50mm becomes the equivalent of 75mm thanks to the sensor conversion factor of my old faithful Nikon D7000, so thanks to this I feel something like "close enough and far enough away from everything".... So I can take eloquent photos (at least it seems to me) without needing to get too close to the few people on the streets in the early hours... And so I can avoid the pathetic "Good morning, how are you?" that usually "breaks" my pleasantly bad mood on foggy mornings"... 😎

Los 50mm se convierten en el equivalente a 75mm gracias al factor de conversión del sensor de mi vieja y fiel Nikon D7000, entonces gracias a esto me siento algo así como "lo suficientemente y cerca y lo suficientemente lejos de todo"... Así que puedo hacer fotos elocuentes (cuando menos eso me parece) sin necesitar acercarme demasiado a las pocas personas que están en las calles en horas tempranas... ¡Y así puedo evitar el patético "¿Buenos días, como estás? que suele "romper" mi agradable mal humor de las mañanas con niebla"... 😎

I'm a little crazy (enough to be aware of it and to make it public without any demureness).... So, I walk through these streets full of fog and people "trying to survive", I like to imagine that I'm a transparent guy, simply investigating how things happen here... And I also like to think that the fog is hiding the imminent fall of a huge asteroid, whose wake can be seen in the sky but we can't see it because of the fog, and then at any moment we will feel an explosion and we will all go to hell without almost realizing it. 😂😂😂

Yo estoy un poco loco (lo suficiente para estar al tanto y hacerlo publico sin recato alguno)... Entonces, camino por estas calles repletas de niebla y gente "intentando sobrevivir", me gusta imaginar que soy un tipo transparente, simplemente indagando como suceden las cosas aquí... Y también me gusta pensar que la niebla está ocultando la caída inminente de un enorme asteroide, cuya estela se observa en el cielo pero no podemos ver debido a la niebla, y entonces en cualquier instante sentiremos una explosión y nos iremos todos al carajo sin casi darnos de cuenta. 😂😂😂

And of course, I like to write this kind of crazy things in this kind of articles to make "catharsis" in the same way I do when I go out to take these pictures.... So, the moment of editing the photos and writing these posts, is an extension in itself of these lovely photographic walks in which I imagine that I am a strange and imperceptible guy, observing humans in the streets of a rather third world town, during the minutes before the apocalypse... I also like to assume that since this is a photo post, only the very stubborn will read everything I write here and perhaps find it funny!... (I pray this is so, because I love to write this nonsense). ✍🙏😊

Y claro, me gusta escribir este tipo de locuras en este tipo de artículos para hacer "catarsis" de la misma manera que la hago cuando salgo a hacer estas fotos... Entonces, el momento de editar las fotos y escribir estos posts, es una extensión en sí mismo de estas encantadoras caminatas fotográficas en las que me imagino que soy un tipo extraño e imperceptible, observando humanos en las calles de un pueblo bastante tercermundista, durante los minutos previos al apocalipsis... ¡También me gusta suponer que al tratarse de un post de fotografías, solo los muy empecinados leeran todo lo que escribo aquí y quizás les parecerá gracioso!... (Rezo porque esto así sea, porque a mi me encanta escribir estas sandeces). ✍🙏😊

Any way you look at it... I'm sure that at least a couple of you interested in seeing my street photos, will also be reading these bizarre lines I'm writing below them... So, I apologize if they look a bit out of place... But what the hell, that's the kind of thing I think about when I'm taking pictures like a foolish on the streets, while many rational people here are trying to earn a few bucks to make the best of their day!... 😎

De la manera que sea... Estoy seguro de que cuando menos un par ustedes interesados en ver mis fotos callejeras, también estarán leyendo estas lineas bizarras que voy escribiendo debajo de ellas... Así que les pido excusas si lucen un tanto fuera de sitio... ¡Pero que carajos, ese es el tipo de cosas que pienso cuando voy haciendo fotos como un orate por las calles, mientras muchas personas racionales aquí están intentando ganarse unos cuantos dolares para pasar el día lo mejor posible!... 😎
