TOWN AWAKENS IN FOG - (PHOTOGRAPHY STREETS)

After several days of intense downpours, heat that could approach 40°C at certain times, very high environmental humidity, and the feeling of living inside a steamer; this morning woke the town up with a pleasant temperature of less than 20°C and a lot of dense fog settling on the streets and, apparently, throughout the valley. So, ready to make the most of this relatively benevolent weather (at least compared to that of the previous days), I went out to the streets to take a long photographic walk, even reaching the edges of the urban area and being able to take a couple of more country-style photos... So this is more or less the story of how I took these photographs that I share today with you here on #Hive...

The streets of the town—or rather, "all the spaces in town"—were not exactly beautiful. Those of you who follow my photographic content blog (and thank you for that, as always, guys) will already know that Montalbán, this town where I have always lived, is a place punished by more than two decades of economic decline and a complex social situation, both products of the political chaos in which Venezuela has been plunged for years. So, all of this is reflected in the streets of the town, and nowadays, it is very difficult to find "pristine and beautiful" spaces in the urban area of the town. But on the other hand, these streets offer a visual complexity and a level of drama which I surely would not find in places where life passes in a more benevolent way... So I simply try to take advantage of this and understand it, and that is how I end up taking these kinds of photographs which, in my personal opinion, I think correctly express my interaction with the street environment of Montalbán...

STOPThe fog looks amazing! I love cold days, and I only want sunshine at the beach, hehe. Here in Valencia, it only rained one day this week, and it was so nice and cool. I love your photos full of fog, and I especially loved the one with the rooster and the curious little sheep, hehehe. It's a really lovely photo, and the one of the man with his back to the camera turned out great too.
La niebla siempre con su magia...
Seen through your lens, Montalban and its people have dignity and strength even if beauty is harder to find ...
Great shots as always, fog is amazing really!
