Last night we had one of those "very crazy storms" that are occasionally happening here. It was a storm of about 4 hours accompanied by persistent lightning and thunder. But already near the night calm returned, the town fell silent and even electricity returned. However, when the weather punishes the streets of the town like this, the mornings the next day -and do not ask me for what reason, because I do not know- are quite interesting to go out to take photos. I do not know, it is as if the people and everything in the town wanted to answer the onslaught of the weather and other setbacks, with small challenges that seem to want to say: "Here we are and here we will continue", at least to me it seems so and it is because of that that early today I decided to go out to take some photos after having a light breakfast...

Anoche tuvimos una de esas "muy locas tormentas" que están ocurriendo aquí ocasionalmente. Fue un temporal de cerca de 4 horas, acompañado por rayos y truenos persistentes. Pero, ya cerca de la noche, volvió la calma, el pueblo quedó en silencio e incluso la electricidad retornó. Sin embargo, cuando aquí el clima castiga así las calles del pueblo, las mañanas al día siguiente —y no me pregunten por qué razón, pues no lo sé— son bastante interesantes para salir a hacer fotos. No sé, es como si la gente, y todo en el pueblo, quisiera contestar a los embates del clima y otros contratiempos con pequeños desafíos que parecen querer decir: "Aquí estamos y aquí seguiremos"; cuando menos a mí me parece así, y es debido a eso que hoy temprano decidí salir a hacer algunas fotos luego de desayunar ligeramente...

Yes, the town was a bit upside down after so much rain during the night, but people went out to do their thing with that very curious way they seem to have to challenge setbacks here... This is a town that pulses in a strange way and I think I have learned to read it based on time wandering in its streets and in its daily experiences...

Sí, el pueblo estaba un poco patas arriba después de tanta lluvia durante la noche, pero la gente salió a hacer lo suyo con esa manera tan curiosa que parecen tener para desafiar los contratiempos aquí... Este es un pueblo que pulsa de manera extraña y creo que yo he aprendido a leerlo a base de tiempo deambulando en sus calles y en sus vivencias cotidianas...
