These are what I would call "fresh photos of the day," because I came in from the street, drank some water to rehydrate, and immediately went into my little studio, sat down at my PC, and started downloading my camera's memory card so I could later review the "street haul" I'd brought back... The thing is, today I didn't feel like going through my photo archives, but I did want to process and edit the photos I'd taken that day. So, after lunch, I went out into the streets to wander around, chatting with people and taking pictures. It was around 1:30 PM, but despite the hour, the sun was hidden by some clouds, and the temperature wasn't too high, about 27°C according to the weather website. Also, the light was good and even, allowing me to take pretty good photos without having to deal with too many shadows or overexposed areas... So, this is the result of my "street exploration" today, in search of daytime photos to share with you on #Hive...

Estas son lo que podría llamar "fotos frescas del día", porque llegué de la calle, bebí algo de agua para rehidratarme, y de inmediato entré a mi pequeño estudio, me senté frente a mi PC y me puse a descargar la memoria de mi cámara para luego revisar el "botín callejero" que traje en ella... Y es que sucede que hoy no tenía deseos de revisar mis archivos fotográficos pero sí procesar y editar fotos fotos del día, así fue como después de almorzar me fui a las calles a deambular mientras conversaba con las personas y me dedicaba a hacer fotos. Serían cerca de las 1:30 PM, pero a pesar la hora, el sol estaba oculto por algunas nubes y la temperatura no era demasiado alta, unos 27 °C según decía la pagina del tiempo. Además, la luz era buena y uniforme, permitiéndome hacer fotos bastante buenas sin tener que lidiar con demasiadas sombras o áreas sobrexpuestas... Así que este es el resultado de mi "exploración callejera" de hoy, en búsqueda de fotos de día para compartir con ustedes en #Hive...

The town, or rather its streets, as always, were brimming with scenes, some in plain sight, others somewhat hidden, but as always, everything unfolded in an endless succession of stories happening together... There are moments here when even the silence itself has something to whisper in my ear. Because I myself am part of these streets where I grew up, so somehow I sense their spaces and even anticipate them... Today I told someone once again: "If I hadn't been born here, I would move to this town to take photos"... Because today, Montalbán, the afternoon was "black and white," and I can't help but love this and want to enjoy it almost every day...

El pueblo, sus calles mejor dicho y como siempre, estaban repletas de escenas a la vista algunas, otras un tanto ocultas, pero como siempre todo ocurría en una sucesión interminable de historias ocurriendo juntas... Hay aquí momentos en los que el mimo silencio tiene algo para contarme al oído. Y es que yo mismo soy parte e estas calles en donde crecí, así que de alguna manera intuyo sus espacios y hasta los predigo... Hoy selo dije a alguien una vez más: "Si yo no hubiera nacido aquí, me mudo a este pueblo para hacer fotos"... Y es que hoy Montalbán, la tarde era en "blanco y negro" y yo no puedo evitar amar esto y querer disfrutarlo casi a diario...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
