THROUGH THE STREETS, IN THE STREETS, AND FROM THE STREETS... (PHOTOGRAPHY STORIES)

Today, after a lovely sunrise bike ride, things got a little complicated on the way home, and I spent practically the entire rest of the day on work and other commitments related to a project I have in mind. So, the hours just slipped away as I ran around doing a bunch of things on the street, and I ended up getting home around 7:00 PM without even having lunch. But after a refreshing shower and a light dinner, I decided to come to my little studio, put on my headphones, listen to some relaxing music, and sit down at my PC to look at my street photos so I could process them and share them here with you on #Hive... And that's how I ended up creating this post...

How big is your town or village where you live?
Hello @ladytruckview friend! 👋😀... The municipality's total area is 107 km², but the urban area itself is no more than 35 km². At the beginning of the 21st century, we had about 35,000 inhabitants; by 2016, we were only 26,000, and it is estimated that today we are around 15,000. The town has suffered a great exodus since the early 2000s due to its declining economy and other factors. But, at this moment in my country (Venezuela), things are happening, and people are hopeful that things will improve, even in very small towns like this one. So we remain hopeful about what the future holds.
For my part, I was born and raised here, and I have always lived here. Even during the 25 years I practiced my profession (IT Engineer), I tried to spend as much time as possible here and never moved permanently to big cities. I think that's why I know so many people here and why taking photos comes so easily to me...
Thanks for asking and for appreciating my work!
Thank you for sharing this! It’s really interesting to read about your town and how things have changed over the years. A drop in population like that must be something people really feel in everyday life.
I actually like small towns a lot. They often have a special atmosphere and character that big cities simply don’t have. Maybe that’s also why your photography feels so natural and authentic.😍
I really hope things improve there in the future. Small towns often have beautiful stories and strong communities behind them. Warm greetings today from France!
I think wither Corsair laugh or not, his face will always make him look angry.
but such a beautiful cat for sure.
That's right, that's why I think they call him "Corsair"!...He looks like a grumpy old pirate with an eye patch! 😂
hey, i really liked the way you captured that feeling of just being lost in the city while taking those pictures. it seems like a hectic day led to some fantastic shots though!
Anyway, the street suits you so well, and the photos are excellent as always.
