Sometimes I just need to go out into the street and take pictures.There is something that tends to distract me as I walk through the streets and almost instinctively I perceive what is going on. Although I do it almost without giving it too much importance. I am referring by the way to certain days, not all of them. They are those days when I need to get my mind distracted and do some things, while something I usually call "my conscience" is taking care of more transcendental things... I know, I've started this post by writing this which is very strange, but you know me, I tend to do this sort of thing. One thing I can say for sure about all my posts, is that they are "sincere, very sincere" because I simply write what is going through my head at the moment I write each article. I never prepare anything, I never think before: "I will do this or that in this way".... No, I simply come to my PC, take my photos, edit them and write about them. Because what I write usually has to do, in one way or another, with them. At least that's almost always the case for my photographs and text shared as entries to the #monomad challenge...

Algunas veces tan solo necesito salir a la calle y hacer fotos. Hay algo que suele abstraerme mientras camino por las calles y de manera casi instintiva voy percibiendo lo que sucede. Aunque lo hago casi sin dar demasiada importancia. Me refiero por cierto a ciertos días, no a todos. Son esos días en los que necesito hacer que mi mente se distraiga y haga algunas cosas, mientras algo que suelo llamar "mi consciencia" está ocupándose de cosas más trascendentales... Ya sé, he comenzado esta publicación escribiendo esto que es muy extraño, pero ustedes me conocen, suelo hacer estas cosas. Algo que puedo asegurar de todas mis publicaciones, es que son "sinceras, muy sinceras" pues simplemente escribo aquello que está pasando por mi cabeza al momento de hacer cada articulo. Nunca preparo nada, nunca pienso antes: "haré tal o cual de esta manera"... No, simplemente, vengo a mi PC, tomo mis fotos, las edito y escribo en torno a ellas. Porque lo que escribo suele tener que ver, de una u otra manera, con ellas. Cuando menos así es casi siempre para mis fotografías y texto compartido como entradas al reto #monomad...

I have never been a simple guy. From a very young age I've been sure that the most real part of myself is something very different from the person everyone sees every day and relates to. And I mean something serious, not just a personality thing, no. I've never been a simple guy. What I mean is that I have always been certain that I am not my body or my thoughts. So that's something "much more complex" to reconcile with the ordinary world. I think it all started when I was a child beginning to be aware of myself. And from then on it was a difficult thing to deal with. However, during my teenage years, early youth and into adulthood, everything started to improve. Somehow I developed the ability to blend in with my surroundings and look like "someone relatively normal"... That helped me to have a career, get a job and start a family!... hahaha :)) I think I did all that using a disguise of an ordinary person!... But I don't regret it, because somehow I have always been there "watching myself"...

Nunca he sido un tipo simple. Desde muy pequeño estoy seguro de que la parte más real de mi mismo es algo muy distinto a la persona que todos ven a diario y con la cual se relacionan. Y me refiero a algo serio, no solo a un tema de personalidad, no. Lo que quiero decir es que desde siempre he tenido la certeza de que no soy mi cuerpo ni mis pensamientos. Entonces eso es algo "mucho más complejo" de compaginar con el mundo común y corriente. Creo que todo esto comenzó desde que era un niño comenzando a tener conciencia de mi mismo. Y desde entonces fue algo difícil de llevar. Sin embargo, durante los años de mi adolescencia, temprana juventud y arribo a la edad adulta, todo comenzó a mejorar. De alguna manera desarrollé la capacidad de compenetrarme con mi entorno y parecer "alguien relativamente normal"... ¡Eso me sirvió tener una carrera, conseguir trabajo y formar una familia!... hahaha :)) ¡Creo que hice todo eso usando un disfraz de persona corriente!... Pero no me arrepiento, porque de alguna manera siempre he estado allí "observándome a mi mismo"...

I write all of this here for a much more selfish purpose than to share it with you... I write these things (and I've been doing it since I was a little boy using my father's typewriter) because it's one of the ways I can imprint in my mind what I know to be true from that part of myself that I call "consciousness"... Once I talked about this with a psychologist and he told me: "As long as it doesn't affect your reality, it just means you have a lot of imagination", another time I told it to a catholic priest and he told me: "Be careful, you are falling into heresy", I also told it to a friend of my mother, who worked as a fortune teller and talked with fairies and elves, she with her old and beautiful green eyes told me: "You are a very old soul, you must be a bit tired of coming here"... Hummm... Come to think of it, this has been a bit of an odd existence, but it has its lovely parts. Like that last answer from our pythian friend...

Escribo todo esto aquí con un objetivo mucho más egoísta que compartirlo con ustedes... Escribo estas cosas (y lo hago desde que era un chiquillo y usaba la maquina de escribir de mi padre) porque es una de las maneras que tengo para imprimir en mi mente lo que sé cierto desde esa parte de mi mismo que llamo "consciencia"... Una vez hable de esto con un psicólogo y me dijo que: "Mientras no afecte tu realidad, solo quiere decir que tienes mucha imaginación", otra vez se lo dije a un sacerdote católico y me dijo: "Ten cuidado, estás cayendo en herejía", también se lo comenté a una amiga de mi madre, la cual trabajaba como adivinadora y hablaba con hadas y duendes, ella con sus ancianos y hermosos ojos verdes me dijo: "Eres un alma muy vieja, debes estar un poco cansado de venir aquí"... Hummm... Pensándolo bien, esta ha sido una existencia un poco rara, pero tiene sus partes encantadoras. Como esa última respuesta nuestra amiga pitonisa...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
