Good heavens, the number of photos I can take in the short, simple streets of my town never ceases to amaze me. And this first week of November has been no exception. Even though I've been alternating my walks between the streets and the rural roads, the streetscapes have provided me with a wealth of images of very diverse character to capture... Cielos, la cantidad de fotos que puedo hacer en las breves y simples calles de mi pueblo, es algo que nunca deja de sorprenderme. Y esta primera semana de Noviembre, no ha sido la excepción. Pues, a pesar de estar alternando mis caminatas entre las calles y los caminos rurales; los espacios callejeros me han brindado un montón de imágenes de muy diverso carácter para registrar... All these photographs “happened” during the first seven days of November, but these aren’t the only ones. I have many more in my archives, which I will share with you as often as usual... In fact, taking photographs is easy for me thanks to the characteristics of the place where I live. But perhaps what takes me the most time is processing and editing each image. I am a kind of “artisan” and I continue to take all my photos in RAW format, then download them to my PC and sit for long hours selecting, processing, and editing them one by one with delightful calm and serenity. The truth is that I enjoy doing it this way, because for me it's a moment of intimate communion with the photos I take, which for me is a bit like “talking to myself”...

Todas estas fotografías "ocurrieron" estos primeros siete días de Noviembre, pero no son solo estas, sino que en mis archivos hay un montón más las cuales iré compartiendo con ustedes con la frecuencia acostumbrada... En realidad, hacer fotografías se me hace fácil gracias a las características propias del lugar en donde vivo. Pero quizás lo que me toma más tiempo es el procesado y edición de cada imagen. Yo soy una especie de "artesano" y continúo haciendo todas mis fotos en RAW para luego descargarlas en mi PC y sentarme largas horas a seleccionar, procesar y editar una a una con deliciosa calma y parsimonia. La verdad es que disfruto hacer esto así, pues para mi son momento de intima comunión con las fotos que hago, lo que para mis efectos es un poco como "dialogar conmigo mismo"...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
