Hello #Hive monochrome friends!.... Today I brought with me to share with you some of my street photography on people. These are not only portraits, but in this selection there are several photos of people who I photographed without them noticing. So these kind of captures are something where the nature of the person, their character, their essence so to speak, is more perceptible from my point of view. I also added among these photos a kind of ‘self portrait’ that I took of myself using my reflection in a display cabinet in the bakery where I often go to get hot bread in the mornings ;).... Let's take a look at these photos, I'm sure you'll like them!....

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Hoy he traído para compartir con ustedes algunas de mis fotografías callejeras hecha a personas. No se trata únicamente de retratos, sino que en esta selección hay varias fotos de gente a quienes fotografié sin que se percatasen. Entonces este tipo de capturas es algo en donde la naturaleza de la persona, su carácter, su esencia por así decirlo; es más perceptible desde mi punto de vista. También agregué entre estas fotos una especie de "auto retrato" que me hice a mi mismo usando mi reflejo en un mueble exhibidor de la panadería en donde con frecuencia voy a buscar pan caliente en las mañanas ;)... ¡Pasemos a ver estas fotos, estoy seguro de que les gustarán!...

People, as expected, are a fundamental element in street photography. Being this kind of photographic work so full of humanity and psyche, people are in themselves the ‘epitome’ of it all... Taking pictures of people on the streets is not easy, I know that because it took me years to be able to do it without self-limitation, and this despite the fact that I do this in a place where I was born and have always lived!... I don't even want to imagine how complicated it would be to do this in a place where I am a stranger... But I can safely say that doing this kind of photography is very worthwhile and rewarding in many ways. I have yet to go somewhere other than my hometown and try to do this kind of photographic exercise, I hope to be able to do it one day... But for the moment, and as we say here: ‘Montalban is enough for me! :)

La gente, como es de esperarse, son un elemento fundamental en las fotos callejeras. Siendo este un tipo de trabajo fotográfico tan cargado de humanidad y psiquis, las personas son en sí mismas el "epítome" de todo esto... Hacer fotos de personas en las calles no es algo fácil, lo sé porque tardé años en poder hacerlo sin auto-limitarme, y eso a pesar de que yo hago esto en un lugar en donde nací y he vivido desde siempre... ¡No me quiero siquiera imaginar cuan complicado pueda ser hacer esto en un lugar en donde yo sea un extraño!... Pero puedo afirmar con toda seguridad que hacer este tipo de fotos vale mucho la pena y es gratificante en muchos aspectos. Tengo aún pendiente el irme a algún lugar distinto a mi pueblo e intentar hacer este tipo de ejercicio fotográfico, espero poder hacerlo algún día... Pero por los momentos, y tal como decimos aquí: "¡Montalbán me basta y sobra!" :)

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
