Hello photography friends!... In the last few days someone told me that in the south of the village beautiful grasslands had grown up around the country roads and that in the mornings the place was full of dense fog...

Hola amigos de la fotografía... En días pasados alguien me comentó que al Sur del pueblo habían crecido pastizales hermosos alrededor de los caminos rurales y que durante las mañanas ese lugar estaba repleto de densas nieblas...

As soon as I arrived there, it was clear to me that there were too many things to photograph, as the weather seemed to be conspiring to do so... No matter the people coming and going, this is a nice corner to take pictures... ;-)

Apenas llegar a aquel lugar, tuve claro que allí había demasiadas cosas para fotografiar, pues el clima parecía estas conspirando para ello... Sin importar las personas yendo y viniendo, este es un lindo rincón para hacer fotos... ;-)

So I decided to go to that place armed with my camera and a 100mm prime lens... I actually intended to take some macro shots of the spider webs and the dewy grass... But I found a lot more to photograph!...

Entonces decidí ir hasta ese lugar armado con mi cámara y un lente de focal fija de 100mm... En realidad tenía la intención de hacer algunas macro fotografías de las telas de arañas y el pasto bañados en rocío... ¡Pero me encontré con muchas más cosas que fotografiar!...

In fact the atmosphere and the characteristics of the place combined to give me almost three hours of photographs that I really loved... I had the feeling that the photographs were there as if they were "floating" everywhere...

En realidad la atmósfera y las características del lugar se conjugaron para regalarme casi tres horas de fotografías que realmente me encantaron... Yo tuve la sensación de que las fotografías estaban allí como "flotando" por todas partes...

On the other hand, it was quite a challenge for me, because I wanted to take advantage of that exceptional availability of images in a relatively small space, I don't think that the pasture and its surroundings occupied a hectare in total... And yes, there are those all shots together!...

Por otra parte, para mi fue todo un desafío, pues quería aprovechar aquella excepcional disponibilidad de imágenes en un espacio relativamente pequeño, no creo que el pastizal y sus alrededores ocupasen una hectárea en total... Sin embargo ¡Allí estaban todas esas fotos juntas!...

Taking this picture with a 100mm macro lens is actually a little strange... But I found out that by making some adjustments it's doable... :-)

Hacer esta foto con un lente macro 100mm en realidad es algo un poco extraño... Pero descubrí que haciendo algunos ajustes es factible...

Yes, I have to admit that at first I thought it had been a mistake to go there armed only with my Tokina ATX-PRO 100mm f/2.8 d MACRO lens... Wow, I thought I was going to miss several photos!...

Sí, tengo que reconocer que en un primer momento pensé que había sido un error llegar allí armado únicamente con mi lente Tokina ATX-PRO 100mm f/2.8 d MACRO... ¡Vaya, creí que me iba a perder varias fotos!...

But when you have the desire, you can always make the effort and you have to force yourself to make the most of what you have at hand and make the best of what you can.

Pero cuando se tiene el deseo, siempre se puede hacer el esfuerzo y el hay que obligarse a extraer el máximo de lo que se tiene a la mano e ingeniárselas como se pueda.

As you can see, I took a lot of pictures in this grassland.... But this one especially captivated me.... It's almost like "Nature inventing a painting"...

Como pueden ver, hice muchas fotos en este pastizal... Pero esta me cautivó especialmente... Es casi como "La naturaleza inventando una pintura"...

And that's precisely what I did... I started taking pictures with the 100mm of my fixed lens!... I took landscapes, I took close-ups, I took macros and I took some curiously abstract photos of the natural elements I had there.

Y eso fue precisamente lo que hice.. ¡Me puse a hacer fotos con los 100mm de mi lente fijo!... Hice paisajes, hice close-ups, hice macros e hice algunas fotos curiosamente abstractas de los elementos naturales que tuve allí.

The grass full of dew and spider webs gave me dozens of abstractions... It was almost difficult to decide how to photograph them, so I simply let myself go by the visual instinct.

El pasto lleno de rocío y telarañas me regaló decenas de abstracciones... Casi fue complicado decidir como fotografiarlas, asó que simplemente me dejé llevar por el instinto visual.

I walked back and forward a thousand times, I walked back and forth, changing angles and perspectives as much as I could... Trying to take as many pictures as possible with that relatively unsuitable lens for some of them... I have to confess that I enjoyed it a lot and even after a long time of taking pictures, I learned a lot of things I didn't know before.

Me acerqué me alejé mil veces, caminé de aquí para allá cambiando de ángulos y perspectivas tanto como pude... Procurando hace la mayor cantidad de fotos posibles con ese lente relativamente inadecuado para algunas de ellas... Tengo que confesar que lo disfruté mucho y aún después de mucho tiempo haciendo fotos, aprendí muchas cosas que no sabía previamente.

Good heavens!... I love these cobwebs... Have you seen such a conspiracy to make something pretty???... I almost felt unable to take the photos that these tiny miracles deserve!...

¡Santos cielos!... Amo estas telarañas... ¿Han visto semejante conspiración para hacer algo lindo?... ¡Casi me sentí incapaz de hacer las fotos que estos minúsculos milagros merecen!...

These then are the photographs of that morning of mists, sunlight trying to beat them, also of grasslands, paths and profuse dew creating magic everywhere... Even in some backlit pictures you can see some pollen particles floating in the wind...

Estas son entonces las fotografías de esa mañana de nieblas, luces del sol intentando vencerlas, también de pastizales, caminos y rocío profuso creando magia por todas partes... Inclusive en algunas fotos a contraluz se ven algunas partículas de polen flotando en el viento...

There in the distance, a gallery forest seems to be calling me to its grounds so that I can take some pictures... But that will be another day...

Allá a lo lejos, un bosque de galería parece estas llamándome a sus predios para que haga allí algunas fotos... Pero eso será otro día...
