I "imagined" this photographic series in recent days when I completed a set of images of vehicles in Black and White.

Esta serie fotográfica la "imaginé" en días recientes cuando completé un conjunto de imágenes de vehículos en Blanco y Negro.

That day, during the creation of that other series I imagined doing something similar but confronting the images in their colour and monochromatic versions .... I have always thought that doing that generates a different perception in the viewer and makes him/her understand better the message implicit in them.

Ese día, durante la creación de aquella otra serie imaginé hacer algo parecido pero confrontando las imágenes en sus versiones de color y monocromáticas.... Siempre he pensado que hacer eso genera una percepción distinta en aquel que observa las fotos y lo hacen entender mejor el mensaje implícito en ellas.

The final impetus was provided by my friend @daveks commenting on a previous post where he casually told me that something similar could be done combining both styles.

El impulso final lo proveyó mi amigo @daveks al comentar una publicación previa donde casualmente él me dijo que algo similar podría hacerse combinando ambos estilos.

^{BRIEF ADDITIONAL NOTE: All images were taken with my old but very faithful Nikon D7000 camera and my beloved 50mm prime lens, which seems to "swallow as much light as possible" and provides good sharpness and fast shooting in almost any setting... The editing of the images goes from RAW files processed with Adobe Camera RAW and then JPGs adjusted with Photoshop, cropping and adding frames and watermarks are usually done with PhotoScape, all these tools are quite old I guess, but they make my life easy and still do their job quite well... ;-)}

^{BREVE NOTA ADICIONAL: Todas las imagenes fueron realizadas con mi vieja pero muy fiel cámara Nikon D7000 y mi queridísimo objetivo de focal fija 50mm, el cual parece "tragarse toda la luz posible" y provee buena nitidez y rapidez de disparo en casi cualquier configuración... Le edición de las imágenes va desde los archivos RAW procesados con Adobe Camera RAW y posteriormente ajustados los JPG con Photoshop, los recortes y agregado de marcos y marcas de agua por lo general los realizo con PhotoScape, todas estas herramientas son bastante antiguas supongo, pero me hacen la vida fácil y siguen cumpliendo su cometido bastante bien. ;-)}
