STREETS, THINGS AND CATS OF JUNE 🐈 - (STREET PHOTOGRAPHY)

I felt quite strange this afternoon, locked in my small studio, reviewing my photographic archives for this month and thinking that, when I took these photos, my feeling of living in a "relative safety" was something common for me—and this despite living in Venezuela, where we have had hard years since the beginning of the century—but it happens that since the earthquake on the 24th, feeling "safe" is something difficult to achieve here. So, I look at these photos, and I cannot help but think that when I took them just a few days ago, I was practically a different person, or perhaps I should say "a person who thought differently." And, to be honest, I think it will be quite difficult to feel safe here again. I don't know, only time will tell...

I literally was looking for you ... praying for you and the people of Venezuela, and glad to know that you are alive!
Thank you so much for your kindness and concern, dear friend! My family and I are doing well, trying to gradually regain our composure, as the situation remains incredibly difficult in many places... 🙏🙏🙏
I know that it does... prayers continuing to go up!
After something like that has happened, it’s hard to feel completely safe again, especially when it’s something beyond one’s control, something caused by the earth’s own movements and which cannot be avoided. Even in those photos, the people and the cats… seem to feel safe, acting so naturally and carefree. It’s not the same anymore.
A spectacular composition amidst the mist, particularly on the cemetery street, with the cats and the abstract elements, combined with the way the people are looking. Always work of the very highest quality. Thank you so much! A big hug!💗
