Today I bring to share with you a series of street photographs cut by me in square format (1x1)... I like to do this from time to time. Cropping the photos having captured them without thinking about any particular format, is something which forces me to try to extract more improvised eloquence and -obviously- it's something which I find very funny to do...

Hoy traigo para compartir con ustedes una serie de fotografías callejeras recortadas por mi en formato cuadrado (1x1)... Me gusta hacer esto de vez en cuando. Recortar las fotos habiéndolas capturado sin pensar en ningún formato en particular, es algo lo cual me obliga a procurar extraer más elocuencia improvisada y -obviamente- es una cosa la cual me resulta muy entretenido de hacer...

These photos are from last February, they are the product of my morning wanderings through the streets of my village. As I always do in my publications under my format which I call "Street Witness", I try to combine my human vision, my emotionality I would say, with my visual and somewhat abstract perception of the things that I have around me...

Estas fotos son del pasado mes de Febrero, son el producto de mi deambular matutino por las calles de mi pueblo. Como siempre hago en mis publicaciones bajo mi formato al cual llamo "Testigo Callejero", procuro combinar mi visión humana, mi emotividad diría yo, con mi percepción visual y algo abstracta de las cosas que tengo alrededor...

Maybe I'm going crazy (even more than I already was) but I confess that lately I'm walking the streets thinking: How come there's nobody else taking pictures in these streets?... I am worried, because maybe one of these days I will end up shouting in the streets urging people to take street photographs.... Then, maybe I'll stop being "The crazy guy with the camera in my hand" and become something like "The camera prophet" hahaha :)))... But well, whatever happens, I will continue to share what I do...

Posiblemente me esté volviendo loco (más aún de lo que ya estaba) pero confieso que últimamente voy por las calles pensando: ¿Como es que no hay nadie más haciendo fotos en estas calles?... Estoy preocupado, pues quizás un día de estos termine gritando en las calles conminando a las personas a hacer fotografías callejeras... Entonces, quizás dejaré de ser "El loco de la cámara en la mano" y me convierta en algo como "El profeta de la cámara" hahaha :))... Pero bien, pase lo que pase, seguiré compartiendo lo que hago...

I love looking these photos almost as much as I love taking them on the streets. I also love the whole process of selecting and editing them... This is for me an activity that allows me to express myself and convey the way I see my surroundings. I think that's what all street photographers do and that makes me understand why this is a type of photography practised by many...

Amo mirar estas fotos casi tanto como amo hacerlas en las calles. Me encanta también todo el proceso de seleccionarlas y editarlas... Esta es para mi una actividad que me permita expresarme y transmitir la manera como veo mi entorno. Pienso que eso que hacemos todos los fotógrafos callejeros y eso me hace entender porqué este es un tipo de fotografía practicado por muchos...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
