Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!... Welcome to a new edition of my black and white street photography series "Street Witness".... The streets speak for themselves, the streets say things, they are full of eloquence and even a silent street can tell a story... Meanwhile I do just that: "observe"; that's why I am a "witness"...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mi serie de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro "Testigo Callejero"... Las calles hablan por sí solas, las calles dicen cosas, están cargadas de elocuencia e inclusive una calle silenciosa puede contar alguna historia... Mientras tanto yo hago eso: "observar"; por eso es que soy un "testigo"...

I cannot hide from the street poetry; the cracks, the people, the leaf litter, the chaos, the sounds, the lights and the shadows; everything in the streets conspires to highlight the poetic sense that is in the daily, cyclical and almost always irreversible street evolution... I have no doubts, I walk among stories, anecdotes and fables; all translated into images that summarise what is happening there... I love this, that's why I immerse myself almost every day in these streets which saw me run as a child and which, with any luck, will see me walk slowly as an old man...

No puedo esconderme de la poesía de las calles; las grietas, las personas, la hojarasca, el caos, los sonidos, las luces y las sombras; todo en las calles conspira para resaltar el sentido poético que hay en el devenir callejero cotidiano, cíclico y casi siempre irreversible... No tengo dudas, camino entre cuentos, anécdotas y fábulas; todas traducidas en imágenes que resumen lo que allí sucede... Amo esto, por eso me sumerjo casi a diario en estas calles las cuales me vieron correr siendo un niño y que, con algo de suerte, me verán caminar lentamente siendo anciano...

I talk to myself, I say strange things, I laugh loudly; the streets turn me into a kind of inoffensive but meddlesome freak... Whether it is a question of details or of broader visions, the streets slowly build me up... That's the special thing about street photography: "the photo made the photographer and not the other way round" (or at least that's how it is in my parallel and street world)...

Hablo solo, digo cosas raras, me río ruidosamente; las calles me convierten en una especie de orate inofensivo pero entrometido... Ya se trate de detalles o de visiones más amplias, las calles me van construyendo lentamente... Eso tiene de particular la fotografía callejera "la foto es quien hace al fotógrafo y no al revés" (o cuando menos así ocurre en mi mundo paralelo y callejero)...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
