Today I'm sharing with you a photographic series as diverse as the streets of my town. These photos are recent; all were taken in the last two weeks of last month and the days that have passed this month. These photos, along with the captions I've added to each one, are an expression of how I observe and understand my street surroundings. Hoy traigo para compartir con ustedes una serie fotográfica tan diversa, como diversas pueden ser las calles de mi pueblo. Estas fotografías son recientes; todas están hechas en las ultimas dos semanas del pasado mes y los días que han transcurrido de este. Y estas fotos y los comentarios o pequeños títulos que hago al pie de cada una de ellas, son una expresión de como yo observo y entiendo mi entorno callejero. Obviously, these streets are very diverse and there is a lot going on here. But in part, “I am guilty of this,” and I know this sounds strange. But it's about how “I translate” these streets because I learned to observe them and discover everything that happens here. I suppose that's how many streets are, in many places, in many other parts of the world; they have to be observed carefully to understand everything that's there, to be “translated,” as I like to say, when I go with my camera in hand looking at everything...

Obviamente que estas calles son muy heterogéneas y hay un montón de cosas ocurriendo aquí. Pero en parte "soy culpable de que así sea", y sé que esto suena extraño. Pero se trata de que "yo traduzco" estas calles porque aprendía a observarlas y a descubrir todo lo que aquí sucede. Supongo que así son muchas calles, en muchos lugares, en muchas otras partes del mundo; tienen que ser bien observadas para comprender todo lo que hay allí, para ser "traducidas" como a mi me gusta decir que sucede, cuando voy con la cámara en la mano mirando todo...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7}
