STREET PHOTOGRAPHY SELECTION - MONOMAD - Street photography from Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela || ENG-ESP || (09 Pics)

Hello monochrome #Hive friends!... I've spent a couple of hours rummaging through my archive of images from the first quarter of this year, this has allowed me to select some street photos that I was waiting to edit in black and white one day when I felt inclined to appreciate the town through very eloquent views... Views that portray the town's streets in the early hours and on those cloudy mornings when the past and present seem to merge in the streets...

I like to do these photographic accounts from time to time. For me it is like reading (or re-reading) a book of recent events associated with the village streets. Looking at these images I breathe in the village life, the thoughts of the people, the past seems to repeat itself and the future can be predicted. I suppose that the fact of always taking photos in the same place is something that allows this "intimate psychic relationship" between daily life and what I capture in my photos. In a certain way, and seen from my particular semi-hermit universe, it is a privilege to do this every day in the same place...

It's funny, I like to take these photos, I like to look at them for a long time afterwards on my PC... But I find it difficult to keep them in colour. I think there is an "initial decision" on my part when I took these photos, which is that the final edition of these photos should be in monochrome mode... It seems to me that the colours are too distracting to the observer and detract from the meaning of everything that is happening in the scenes I record...

Really like the look of a dense haze in the background that just gives so much more attention to the main subjects
