All these photographs were taken on the same cloudy morning. Among the advantages of taking pictures in a place like my village, is the ease of going from the rural environment to the street walking very few minutes. The day I took these photos I woke up and went out on the streets too early to venture out on the rural roads. So while I waited for the daylight to increase, I wandered just at that threshold of the streets that are on the edges of the urban center... These are my photos from back then and I've edited a handful of them in black and white format to share with you today on #Hive...

Todas estas fotografías las hice en una misma mañana nublada. Entre las ventajas de hacer fotografías en un lugar como mi pueblo, puedo contar con la facilidad de pasar del entorno rural al callejero caminando muy pocos minutos. El día que hice estas fotos me desperté y salí a las calles demasiado temprano como para aventurarme por los caminos rurales. Así que mientras esperaba el incremento de la luz del día, me dediqué a deambular justo en ese umbral de las calles que están en los bordes del casco urbano... Estas son mis fotos de entonces y he editado un puñado de ellas en formato blanco y negro para compartirlas con ustedes hoy en #Hive...

The pictures are not ordered chronologically even though I took them in the same morning. To tell you the truth, I just sat in front of my PC going through my RAW files from that day and selected the photos in no specific order and decided to put them in the publication more or less in the order in which I selected them. I had it in my head today that doing it this way would better convey my way of doing this and the way I was thinking as I did it... I generally go about selecting and editing my photos one by one, I never do it in batches or using preset options for a group of photos, I don't feel comfortable doing it that way. I prefer to go one at a time, treating each photo as a unique and particular thing, that's how I understand my photos...

Las fotos no están ordenadas cronológicamente a pesar de que las hice en una misma mañana. A decir verdad, simplemente me senté en frente de mi PC a recorrer mis archivos RAW de ese día y seleccioné las fotos sin un orden especifico y decidí colocarlas en la publicación más o menos en el orden en el cual las seleccioné. Hoy tuve metida en la cabeza que hacerlo de esta forma transmitiría mejor mi manera de hacer esto y la forma en la que estaba pensando mientras lo hice... Generalmente voy seleccionando y editando mis fotos una por una, nunca lo hago en lotes o usando opciones preconfiguradas para un grupo de fotos, no me siento cómodo haciéndolo así. Prefiero ir de una en una, tratando cada foto como un algo único y particular, así es como yo entiendo mis fotos...
