These last few days, in the streets of my town, I perceive a little more than usual the tiredness of those who are already waiting for some significant improvements in everyone's quality of life, since, supposedly, the political, social, and economic events of this year have been many and very relevant. But, as many of the expected changes have not occurred, people tend to despair and react in various ways. Some seem a bit more sullen, and others somewhat hopeless and prone to sadness. And in the middle of all this, there is me, a guy right in the middle of his 50s and 60s (I turn 55 on August 4th, by the way 🎂) wandering the streets taking pictures of everything around. Seeming, to some, shockingly unconcerned, and to others, someone they are happy to see because he seems to be a "little crazy," and that always cheers up a good portion of people (the majority, I would say)... The truth is that, like everyone here, I also have my problems, worries, and shortcomings; but this wandering the streets taking photos is something that helps me overcome daily and move forward with a certain optimism... And well, there are cats in the streets! What more can I ask for than finding a cat looking at me on practically every block? And the same thing happens to me with dogs, but in this post, I only wanted to put cats among my street photos... And well, I know this might seem a bit strange, but it works for me, and I know that I also make the day of many who see me, because here there are many good-hearted people who are a bit like children and get happy and smile at any little thing, like the simple fact of seeing "a crazy guy with a camera in his hand, who also talks to cats"... 😀👍

Estos últimos días, en las calles de mi pueblo se percibe, un poco más de lo acostumbrado, el cansancio de las personas que esperan ya algunas mejoras significativas en la calidad de vida de todos, ya que, supuestamente, los acontecimientos políticos, sociales y económicos de este año han sido muchos y muy relevantes. Pero, al no haber ocurrido muchos de los cambios esperados, la gente tiende a desesperarse y a reaccionar de diversas maneras. Unos se notan un poco más hoscos y otros un tanto desesperanzados y proclives a la tristeza. Y en medio de todo esto, estoy yo, un tipo en pleno centro entre los 50 y los 60 (cumplo 55 el 04 de agosto, por cierto) deambulando por las calles haciendo fotos de todo alrededor. Pareciendo, para algunos, chocantemente despreocupado, y para otros, alguien que les hace feliz de ver porque parece estar un "poco loco" y eso siempre alegra a buena parte de las personas (a la mayoría, diría yo)... Lo cierto es que, como todos aquí, yo también tengo mis problemas, preocupaciones y carencias; pero esto de vagar en las calles haciendo fotos es algo que me sirve para sobreponerme a diario y seguir adelante con cierto optimismo... Y bueno, ¡hay gatos en las calles! ¿Qué más puedo pedir que encontrar un gato mirándome en prácticamente cada cuadra? Y lo mismo me sucede con los perros, pero en este post solo quise poner gatos entre mis fotos de calles... Y bueno, sé que esto puede parecer un poco raro, pero a mí me sirve, y sé que a muchos que me ven también les alegro el día, porque aquí hay muchas personas de buen corazón que son un poco como niños y se alegran y sonreirán con cualquier pequeña cosa, como el simple hecho de ver "un tipo loco con una cámara en la mano, que además habla a los gatos"... 😀👍

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
