These are street photos, yes, but they're the kind where there's a certain intimacy or more explicit communion between what I observe and myself. Because in the streets I don't just see streets—and I know that sounds strange—but it turns out that in the streets, I also see things looking at me and bearing witness to my thoughts. But, geez, that last part sounds even stranger. So, perhaps, it's best to simply say that these photos are "SEGMENTS"; small, or not so small, portions of a less complex whole that is the town itself. And, again, that last part sounds even stranger, so I conclude that my photos increasingly resemble me observing the typical complexity of the things that go through my head; Sometimes in large groups, other times sparsely and almost alone, like those parakeets that stay behind when the flocks migrate in the afternoon... And yes, my photos are increasingly resembling what's happening in this dance of thoughts that no longer seem so much my own as before...

Estas son fotos callejeras, sí, pero son de esas fotos en las que hay cierta intimidad o comunión más explícita entre lo que observo y mí mismo. Porque en las calles no solo veo calles —y sé que eso suena extraño—, pero resulta que en las calles, además, miro cosas mirándome y atestiguando mis pensamientos. Pero, caray, eso último suena incluso más extraño. Así que, tal vez, lo mejor sea decir simplemente que estas fotos son "SEGMENTOS"; pequeñas, o no tan pequeñas, porciones de un todo menos complejo que es el pueblo en sí mismo. Y, de nuevo, esto último suena aún más extraño, así que concluyo que mis fotos cada vez se parecen más a mí observando la complejidad típica de las cosas que me pasan por la cabeza; algunas veces en grandes grupos, otras veces escuetamente y casi solitarias, como esas cotorras que se quedan de último cuando vuelan en la tarde las bandadas migrando... Y es que mis fotos, sí, se están pareciendo cada vez más a lo que está en esta danza de pensamientos que ya no parecen tan míos como antes...
