And this is what I did today upon locking myself in my studio to review my photographic archives, and to dedicate myself to processing and editing some photos from this past month of July. I did it as a catharsis, because the day was busy; so much so that I fasted until well into the afternoon, since I was out on the street fulfilling some work commitments and had no time either to eat breakfast or to have lunch. So, when I arrived home past mid-afternoon, I took a bath, ate something light (slices of avocado, olive oil, fresh cheese, and roasted cassava cakes or, as we call it, "casabe"), spent a while petting my dogs, and then came here to spend some time together with my photographs. And today I processed and edited with high creative license —that is how I wanted it—, because I needed to drain the typical tensions of a busy and hot day... And this, my dear friends, is the story of this photographic series that I share with you here on #Hive today...

Y esto fue lo que hice hoy al encerrarme en mi estudio a revisar mis archivos fotográficos y dedicarme a procesar y a editar algunas fotos del pasado mes de julio. Lo hice como catarsis, porque el día fue atareado; tanto así que ayuné hasta bien entrada la tarde, pues estaba en la calle cumpliendo algunos compromisos de trabajo y no tuve tiempo ni de desayunar ni de almorzar. Así que, cuando llegué a casa pasada la media tarde, me di un baño, comí algo ligero (tajadas de aguacate, aceite de oliva, queso fresco y tortas de yuca asada o, como le llamamos nosotros, «casabe»), estuve un rato acariciando a mis perros y luego me vine aquí a pasar un rato junto con mis fotografías. Y hoy procesé y edité con alta licencia creativa —así lo quise—, pues necesitaba drenar las tensiones típicas de un día ocupado y caluroso... Y esta, queridos amigos míos, es la historia de esta serie fotográfica que comparto con ustedes aquí en #Hive hoy...
