I took the photos in this post just after the moment where the photos of a post I made a couple of weeks ago titled "CLOUDY MORNING, SOUTH OF TOWN" end, so, in a certain sense, this post is a continuation of that one and corresponds to the return journey from that walk... But let's start looking at photos and I'll keep telling you about it as we see them...

Hice las fotos de esta publicación, justo después del momento en el cual terminan las fotos una publicación que hice hace un par de semanas atrás titulada "CLOUDY MORNING, SOUTH OF TOWN" así que, desde cierto punto de vista, esta publicación es la continuación de aquella otra y corresponde al trayecto de retorno desde aquella caminata... Pero comencemos a ver fotos y les seguiré contando al respecto a medida que las vemos...

Just as I wrote that time, after finding the property of a friend I was planning to visit so lonely and closed off, I decided to rest a bit, look at the landscape, and then begin my return journey to town. But these are places where it's very difficult to pass by without stopping to take photographs; so when I passed again along the edge of the hills where some coniferous forests grow (planted there as part of a failed logging project), I immediately noticed that the ambient light had changed, as had the angle of incidence of sunlight on the trees. So, I took photographs from the road, taking advantage of all this...

Tal como escribí aquella vez; después de encontrar solitaria y cerrada la propiedad de un amigo al cual pensaba visitar, decidí descansar un poco, mirar el paisaje y luego iniciar mi trayecto de vuelta al pueblo. Pero estos son lugares en los cuales es muy difícil pasar de largo y no detenerse a hacer fotografías; así que cuando pasé nuevamente bordeando las colinas en donde crecen algunos bosques de coníferas (sembradas allí como parte de un fallido proyecto de explotación maderera) me percaté de inmediato que la luminosidad del ambiente había cambiado y también el ángulo de incidencia de la luz solar sobre los árboles. Entonces, me dediqué ha hacer fotografías desde el camino, aprovechando todo esto...

The hills with coniferous forests converge with some native vegetation and grasslands growing in the lower, flat areas. So all this offers an interesting landscape from a photographic point of view. I was there for over an hour, and believe me, I thoroughly enjoyed taking these photos with all that vegetation illuminated by the soft, even light typical of cloudy mornings....

Las colinas con bosques de coníferas convergen con algunos bosques de vegetación autóctona y con pastizales que crecen en las zonas bajas y planas. Entonces todo esto ofrece un paisaje interesante desde el punto de vista fotográfico, esto me hizo estar allí durante más de una hora y créanme, disfruté un montón el hacer estas fotos con toda esa vegetación iluminada por esa luz suave y uniforme típica de las mañanas nubladas...

Shortly after, I began to feel the gradual increase in ambient temperature and humidity, so I stopped taking pictures of the woods and proceeded to return to the village using more or less the same paths I had used to get here hours before (there are various paths that can be used to save distance, but I always like to go for those that I consider "more photographable")... And obviously, I continued taking pictures of everything interesting that I found along the way...

Poco después, comencé a sentir el gradual incremento de la temperatura ambiental y la humedad, así que dejé de hacer fotografías a los bosques y procedí a volver al pueblo usando más o menos los mismos senderos que había usado para llegar hasta aquí horas antes (hay diversos caminos que pueden usarse para ahorrar distancia, pero siempre me gusta ir por aquellos que considero "más fotografiables")... Y obviamente, continúe haciendo fotografías de todo lo interesante que iba encontrando a mi paso...

A huge weaverbird's nest, my friend "Abelardo" collecting firewood, a bend in the dirt road, the closed gate of an old abandoned property...

Un enorme nido de pájaros tejedores, mi amigo "Abelardo" colectando leños, una curva en el camino de tierra, el portal cerrado de una antigua propiedad abandonada...

The mountains to the west, the rural landscape, a small bird almost so close I could have touched it with my hand, and a small hawk that brushed past my head just as I reached the paved road again... Everything here seems to conspire for a photo, really...

La montañas al oeste, el paisaje rural, una pequeña ave casi tan cerca que hubiese podido tocarla con mi mano y un pequeño halcón el cual pasó rozando mi cabeza justo cuando llegué nuevamente a la carretera pavimentada... Todo aquí parece conspirar para una foto ciertamente...
