I take a lot of photos when the mornings are foggy. Truthfully, I am somewhat obsessive about this. Even when I arrive and download my camera's memory, it is not uncommon for me to be surprised to see that I took 300 or more photos on a walk of less than a couple of hours. Truth be told, I no longer remember well how I came to do this in such a daily and almost automatic way; I mean walking, meditating, and shooting photos almost as an instinctive impulse. It also happens to me that, when I sit in my studio in front of my PC and dedicate myself to reviewing my RAW files, I find photographs that I don't even remember taking, and this happens even with photos that could be from yesterday or the day before yesterday. I frequently think very crazy things like: "Could it be that I 'duplicate' myself while I take photos?". And the one who goes through the streets firing the camera shutter is someone different from the one who is simply walking, observing, meditating, and even interacting with people... I don't know, I also like to think those crazy things from time to time... It seems to me that, after all, I have very "bohemian" moments of myself to enjoy frequently, and this is something that I could only dream of about 15 or 16 years ago, when I spent my time stuck in work meetings, business trips, work projects, and days and more days of work with just a few days of rest year after year... Be that as it may, I am relatively happy with how I spend this part of my time now, and I thank God for having reached this point despite the shortcomings and setbacks... And, as always, here are my street photos with brief stories for you on #Hive! And today they are certainly "random" because they are diverse and I "rediscovered" some of them while looking through my archives, because I had forgotten them...

Hago un montón de fotos cuando las mañanas tienen niebla. En verdad, soy un tanto obsesivo con esto. Incluso, cuando llego y descargo la memoria de mi cámara, no es extraño que me sorprenda al ver que hice 300 o más fotos en una caminata de menos de un par de horas. La verdad, ya no recuerdo bien cómo llegué a hacer esto de manera tan cotidiana y casi automática; me refiero a caminar, meditar y disparar fotos casi como un impulso instintivo. También me ocurre que, al sentarme en mi estudio al frente de mi PC y dedicarme a revisar mis archivos RAW, me encuentro con fotografías las cuales ni siquiera recuerdo haber tomado, y esto sucede incluso con fotos que pueden ser de ayer o de antier. Con frecuencia pienso cosas muy locas como: «¿No será que me "duplico" mientras hago fotos?». Y ese que va por las calles disparando el obturador de la cámara es otro distinto al que simplemente va caminando, observando, meditando e incluso interactuando con gente... No sé, también me gusta pensar esas cosas locas de vez en cuando... Me parece que, después de todo, tengo ratos muy "bohemios" de mí mismo para disfrutar con frecuencia, y esto es algo que no podía sino soñar hace unos 15 o 16 años atrás, cuando me la pasaba metido en reuniones de trabajo, viajes de trabajo, proyectos de trabajo y días y más días de trabajo con apenas unos pocos de descanso año a año... Sea como sea, estoy relativamente feliz con cómo paso esta parte de mi tiempo ahora y agradezco a Dios el haber llegado hasta este punto a pesar de las carencias y contratiempos... Y, como siempre, ¡he aquí mis fotos callejeras con breves historias para ustedes en #Hive! Y hoy ciertamente son "aleatorias" porque son diversas y a algunas me las "reencontré" mientras miraba en mis archivos, porque las había olvidado...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
