I'm starting to walk the streets more often again. As you know, my town has a slow and very particular pace of life. So, the events of the last few days only affected people's behavior on the streets for a short time, and soon everything went back to normal. Obviously, what happens in the bigger cities resonates with the townspeople and becomes a topic of conversation and even some concern. But in general, all of that is seen and understood as something that happens outside of this kind of "isolation" that Montalbán seems to be immersed in, I don't know if out of habit or convenient escapism, but that's how it is here. So, like everyone else, I've gone back to my habit of going out to take photos in the mornings and looking for these little visual stories that I love to capture and share with you on #Hive...

Estoy volviendo a recorrer las calles con frecuencia. Tal colmo ya ustedes saben, mi pueblo es un lugar con un ritmo de vida lento y muy particular. Así que los acontecimientos de estos últimos días afectaron el comportamiento de las personas en las calles solo por poco tiempo, y prontamente todo volvió a ser igual. Obviamente, lo que sucede en las ciudades más grandes resuena entre las personas del pueblo y es motivo de comentarios e incluso de algunas preocupaciones. Pero en general, todo aquello es visto y entendido como algo que sucediese fuera de este especie de "aislamiento" en el cual Montalbán se sumerge, no sé si por costumbre o por conveniente evasión, pero es así como sucede aquí. Así que yo, al igual que el resto, volví a mi costumbre de salir a hacer fotos en las mañanas y buscar estas pequeñas historias visuales que tanto amo capturar y compartir con ustedes en #Hive...

And yes, indeed, the streets are as they always are. And then my photos fill with people coming and going, with my beloved stray dogs and cats getting up to mischief everywhere, with small street details that perhaps only I understand as tiny stories that fill me with wonder, and this time, even with a bird on a wire fence, looking at me as if it didn't understand why I was taking pictures, or perhaps it was curious. That's how these streets are, that's how I learned to understand them and use them to create and express how I see them...

Y sí, efectivamente, las calles están como siempre. Y entonces mis fotos se llenan de personas yendo y viniendo, de mis amados perros y gatos callejeros haciendo de las suyas por todas partes, de pequeños detalles callejeros a los cuales quizás únicamente yo entiendo como historias minúsculas que me maravillan, y esta vez, incluso de un ave sobre una alambrada, mirándome como si no entendiese el porqué voy tomando fotos, o le causase curiosidad. Así son estas calles, así aprendí a entenderlas y a usarlas para crear y expresar como yo las miro...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
