These streets are packed with moments, or maybe I am the one who is full of intentions, I do not know... The truth is that this afternoon, after spending a good part of the day sharing with some relatives who came to town to visit, I have been thinking that the simple fact of doing street photography has transformed my way of interacting with people, and today I had this very clear, when talking to someone who left town 41 years ago, but who comes to visit with some regularity; I surprised myself narrating the daily events of the town to him with the eagerness of a chronicler whose memory is loaded with events, anecdotes, and diverse stories... And —the strangest thing of all— is that this ability (if it can be called that) I think came to me as a result of wandering so continuously in the streets taking photographs...

Estas calles están repletas de momentos, o quizás sea yo quien está lleno de intenciones, no sé... Lo cierto es que durante la tarde de hoy, después de estar buena parte del día compartiendo con algunos familiares que vinieron al pueblo de visita, he estado pensando que el simple hecho de hacer fotografía callejera ha transformado mi manera de interactuar con las personas. Hoy tuve esto muy claro cuando, conversando con alguien que se fue del pueblo 41 años atrás pero que viene de visita con cierta regularidad, me sorprendí a mí mismo narrándole el acontecer cotidiano del pueblo con la avidez de un cronista cuya memoria está cargada de eventos, anécdotas e historias diversas... Y —lo más extraño de todo— es que esta habilidad (si se puede llamar así) creo que vino a mí a raíz de deambular tan continuamente en las calles haciendo fotografías...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
