Today I felt really lazy. I had to fulfill work commitments from the moment I woke up until almost 3:00 PM, when I finally had some time to myself. And everything I did until then, I did with a certain reluctance typical of those days when I seem to lack energy. So when I had the opportunity to come to my studio, sit down in front of my PC, put on my headphones to listen to some poetry, and —of course— spend some time selecting and processing photographs, I felt like I was finally doing what I really wanted to do... And that's the story behind these street photographs that I'm sharing with you today here on #Hive...

Hoy he sentido un montón de flojera, he tenido que cumplir compromisos de trabajo desde que que desperté hasta casi las 3:00 PM cuando finalmente tuve un rato para mi. Y todo cuanto he hecho hasta esa hora, lo he hecho con cierto desgano típico de esos días en los que parece faltarme la energía. Así que cuando tuve la oportunidad de venir hasta mi estudio, sentarme en frente de mi PC, colocarme los auriculares para oír un poco de poesía y -por supuesto- dedicarme a seleccionar y procesar fotografías; sentí que finalmente estaba haciendo al que realmente quería hacer... Y esa es la historia de estas fotografías callejeras las cuales comparto con ustedes hoy aquí en #Hive...

All these photos are recent, all taken in November, which is not yet over. This is one of those reviews I do of my RAW files, which always end up pleasantly surprising me, as I find photos that I might not have processed or shared if I didn't do these periodic reviews. I think that perhaps, because street photography is the most psychic type of photography, my mood may end up influencing the selection and editing of the photos...

Todas estas fotos son recientes, todas han sido hechas en este mes de Noviembre al cual aún no termina. Esta es una de esas revisiones las cuales que hago entre mis archivos RAW y terminan sorprendiéndome gratamente, pues encuentro fotografías las cuales quizás hubiese dejado sin procesar ni compartir de no hacer yo estas revisiones periódicas. Pienso que quizás, por ser la fotografía de calle el tipo de fotografía más psíquico, puede que el estado de animo termine por incidir en la selección y edición de las mismas...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
