On certain mornings of any day, of any year, lived or imagined, I don't know.... The town, the streets, the people and even the memories, try to wake up, but the fog embraces them and turns into a parsimonious story which is hard to move forward and become normal. Then, the only thing left to do, is to wait for the sun to help them stretch their arms and start pretending...

Ciertas mañanas de cualquier día, de cualquier año, vividas o imaginadas, no lo sé... El pueblo, sus calles, su gente y hasta sus recuerdos, intentan despertarse, pero la niebla los abraza y los convierte en un cuento parsimonioso a el que le cuesta avanzar y convertirse en normalidad. Entonces, solo queda esperar al sol para que ayude a estirar los brazos y comenzar a fingir...

The loneliness and the silence, dawn in frank struggle with the souls appeared, hesitant and incomprehensible, trying some to live and others at least not to die ... But the fog seems to want to erase them...

La soledad y el silencio, amanecen en franca lucha con las almas aparecidas, vacilantes e incomprensibles, intentando unas vivir y otras cuando menos no morir... Pero la niebla parece querer borrarlas...

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... What day is it?... That doesn't seem to matter to the fog, she has its own schedule and a calendar where marks the days in which she will come to appease the raised heads of those who want to make a happy day for themselves... Like skinny and exhausted fireflies, the lights of the motorized frets try to break through, but the fog knows that she has already won the battle in their hearts pierced by early grays.

¿Lunes, martes, miércoles?... ¿Que día es?... Eso parece no importarle a la niebla, ella tiene su propio horario y un calendario en donde marca los días en los que vendrá a apaciguar las cabezas alzadas de lo que quieran fabricarse un día alegre... Como luciérnagas flacas y exhaustas, las luces de los esperpentos motorizados intentan abrirse paso, pero la niebla sabe que, ya ganó la batalla en sus corazones horadados por grises tempraneros.

Don't you hate these mornings where you can't even see clearly...? Those who try not to die ask the one they call: "The madman with the camera in his hand". But this one, in his infinite and sacred madness, answers them: "I was born sad, that's why I rejoice every day"... Some curse him, others scratch their heads in confusion, but most go on their way without saying goodbye...

¿Acaso no odias estas mañanas en donde no se puede ni ver con claridad?... Preguntan los que intentan no morir a ese el cual ellos llaman: "EL loco con la cámara en la mano". Pero este, en su infinita y sagrada locura, les responde: "Yo nací triste, por eso me alegro a diario"... Algunos le maldicen, otros se rascan la cabeza confundidos, pero la mayoría sigue su camino sin despedirse...

Mikaah, that huge angel with slate wings and saffron skin, appears out of nowhere with a clap of thunder, or sometimes with a whisper of wind which seems inappropriate in the calm and dull weather of the dense, cloudy morning. Then, without greeting, as he is always wont to do, he says something wise like: "Don't tell them the truths without shading them with humanity, remember that they think they are flesh and bones, and some even think they are their thoughts"... Then he walks for a while next to the "Madman with the camera in his hand" ignoring his own wisdom, saying silly things and laughing as if he were a child, while the people pretend to cope with their miseries.

Mikaah, ese ángel enorme con alas de pizarra y piel de azafrán, aparece de la nada con un trueno, o a veces con un susurro de viento el cual parece inadecuado para el clima calmo y macilento de la mañana nublada y densa. Entonces, sin saludar, como siempre acostumbra a hacer, dice algo sabio como: "No les digas las verdades sin matizarlas de humanidad, recuerda que se creen carne y huesos, y algunos hasta creen que son sus pensamientos"... Luego camina un rato al lado del "Loco con la cámara en la mano" haciendo caso omiso de su propia sabiduría, diciendo cosas tontas y riendo como si fuera un niño, mientras el pueblo finge sobrellevar sus miserias.

That man who pretends trying not to be approached by illusions, that man who tries to be silent and watch how the fog revives memories which he sees walking through the old streets imbued with destiny, that man walks with an angel by his side while people wander towards a precise and structured nothingness, so temporary that it often seems eternal and even "relevant"...

Ese hombre que finge intentando no ser abordado por ilusos, ese hombre que procura hacer silencio y mirar como la niebla revive recuerdos los cuales ve caminar por las calles viejas embebidas de destino, ese hombre camina con un ángel a su lado mientras la gente deambula hacia una nada precisa y estructurada, tan temporal que suele parecer eterna e inclusive "relevante"...

The angel takes flight, says something, but speaks in tongues... The sun insinuates itself among the mist that begins to say goodbye, the day begins to take a course through which the morning full of confused spectres will be only a memory, a bad dream for some... A miracle for others...

El ángel alza el vuelo, dice algo, pero habla en lenguas... El sol se insinúa entre la neblina que comienza a despedirse, el día comienza a tomar un rumbo a través del cual la mañana repleta de espectros confundidos será solo un recuerdo, un a mal sueño para algunos... Un milagro para otros...
