My streets are full of old vehicles, some of them rolling by and spewing smog indiscriminately while their engines make incomprehensible and disorderly noises, others are simply there, in the streets, parked apparently forever... Some of these vehicles are new in town, apparently people here do not get tired of buying these old artifacts to bring them to our streets and continue to fill with anachronisms the streets already full of confused time...

Mis calles están repletas de vehículos viejos, algunos pasan rodando y largando smog de manera indiscriminada mientras sus motores hacen ruidos incomprensibles y desordenados, otros simplemente están allí, en las calles, parqueados al parecer para siempre... Algunos de estos vehículos son nuevos en el pueblo, al parecer las personas aquí no se cansan de comprar estos viejos artefactos para traerlos a nuestras calles y seguir colmando de anacronismos las calles ya repletas de tiempo confundido...

Everything here has a little story behind it. That's why I put those little captions at the bottom of my photos, I like to use them as something extra to enhance the sense of the photo and provide an idea of how an image merges with the daily life of the village by its own nature... Even these old vehicles, sometimes quite rickety, end up becoming village characters by their own merit...

Todo aquí tiene una pequeña historia detrás. Debido a eso coloco esos pequeños títulos al pie de mis fotos, me gusta usarlos como algo adicional para nutrir el sentido de la foto y proveer una idea de como una imagen se funde con la cotidianidad del pueblo por naturaleza propia... Incluso estos viejos vehículos, bastante destartalados a veces, terminan convirtiéndose en personajes de pueblo por mérito propio...

These photos come from a compilation of my captures from February, March and so far this month of April... It's not about me specifically going out to take photos of these old vehicles on my streets. What really happens is that they are plentiful enough such that I take a handful of photos with this theme every time I go out to do street photography... And this makes me feel lucky indeed!...

Estas fotos provienen de una recopilación de mis capturas de Febrero, Marzo y lo que va de este mes de Abril... No se trata de que yo salga específicamente a hacer fotos de estos vehículos viejos en mis calles. Lo que realmente sucede es que son lo suficientemente abundantes como para que yo haga un puñados de fotos con este tema cada vez que salgo a hacer fotografía callejera... ¡Y esto me hace sentir afortunado caray!...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
