Yes, those of you who follow my content on #Hive (and thanks as always for that, guys) probably already know that I occasionally photograph old vehicles... What street photographer can resist the charm of one of these old things on wheels, huh?... And in my town, you can sometimes feel like you're traveling back in time, perhaps to the last four decades of the 20th century, because there's plenty to work with when it comes to photographing vintage cars...

In today's selection, you'll see photos of some of my "regulars," because here, vehicles are so much a part of the place that they even serve as landmarks, and it's not unusual to hear things like: "over there on the street with the old blue truck" or "I'm heading towards the alley with Luis's old pickup," and so on. But there are also some photos of other "new oldies" that have recently appeared on the town's streets and that I hadn't previously documented. And one of the things I love most about having all these vintage vehicles on my streets is that the vast majority of them are still fully operational and allow their owners to earn a living, whether by hauling cargo, transporting people, or even serving as a family vehicle or a going and back to work. Sí, seguramente aquellos de ustedes que siguen mi contenido en #Hive (y gracias como siempre por eso chicos) ya sabrán que acostumbro a fotografiar de manera ocasional vehículos viejos... ¿Qué fotógrafo callejero puede resistirse al encanto de una de estas viejas cosas sobre ruedas, eh?... Y en mi pueblo a veces se puede tener la sensación de estar viajando al pasado, quizás a las ultimas cuatro décadas del pasado siglo, porque en las calles hay bastante de donde echar mano cuando se trata de hacer fotos de vehículos automotores antiguos...

En esta selección de hoy verán fotos de algunos de mis "habituales", pues aquí los vehículos se hacen tan pertenecientes al lugar que incluso sirven como referencia y no es de extrañar oír cosas como: "allá en la calle del camión azul viejo" o "voy hacia el callejón de la vieja pickup de Luis" y así sucesivamente. Pero además hay algunas fotos de otros "nuevos viejos" que han aparecido en las calles del pueblo recientemente y no tenía registrados. Y una de las cosas que más me encanta de tener en mis calles todos estos viejos vehículos automotores, es que la gran mayoría de ellos siguen estando totalmente operativos y sirven para que sus dueños se ganan el pan diario, ya sea llevando carga, llevando personas o incluso sirviendo como vehículo de uso familiar o para ir al trabajo. Y dicho todo esto, solo me queda invitarlos a continuar adelante en esta publicación y disfrutar de estas fotos que traje hoy para ustedes aquí en #Hive...
