November began, and for me it began with streets, and it began with photographs... November also began with a morning of light fog barely touching the aged streets, with people chatting casually in front of their houses, with my beloved dogs and cats magically appearing in the streets, with somewhat strange things happening unexpectedly in a backyard, with an old friend wanting a portrait but not daring to say so... In short, November began with me wandering the streets and greeting people amiably on this Saturday morning of shifting light, in which the sun was struggling to make its presence felt... Comenzó Noviembre, y para mi comenzó con calles, y comenzó con fotografías... Comenzó Noviembre también con una mañana con niebla tenue apenas tocando las calles envejecidas, con personas conversando despreocupadas en frente de sus casas, con mis amados perros y gatos apareciendo en las calles mágicamente, con las cosas un tanto extrañas ocurriendo inesperadas en un patio trasero, con un viejo amigo queriendo un retrato sin atreverse a decirlo... En fin, comenzó Noviembre conmigo deambulando en las calles y saludando afable en esta mañana sabatina de luces cambiantes, en la cual el sol se esforzaba por hace acto de presencia... Yes, the streets of November burst joyfully before my eyes, gifting me a diverse and eloquent morning... I only walked for a couple of hours today, but on every block, things seemed to be conspiring to become photographs, so those two hours passed quickly, punctuated by quick greetings, by inadvertent shots, by corners with something new or something I hadn't noticed before despite passing by dozens of times... That's Montalbán, a kind of ever-changing, everyday fable, unfolding for those who sharpen their gaze and understand what it's like to live here...

Sí, las calles de Noviembre estallaron alegremente en mi rostro y me regalaron una mañana diversa y elocuente... Apenas caminé un par de horas hoy, pero en cada cuadra las cosas parecías estar conspirando para convertirse en fotos, así que fueron dos horas que pasaron rápido, salpicadas por saludos rápidos, por disparos inadvertidos, por rincones con algo nuevo o algo que no había notado antes a pesar de pasar por allí docenas de veces... Así es Montalbán, una especie de fabulario cambiante y cotidiano, sucediendo para aquel que afine la mirada y entienda como es esto de vivir aquí...
