En pleno ecuador del mes de septiembre, las lluvias comienzan a espaciarse, la vegetación continúa densa y verde, los caminos se endurecen y se pueden recorrer mientras vamos sumergidos en una despreocupación rayana en la alegría...

The warm and humid air of the September mornings, almost forces me to wake up and stand up before the sun comes and greets me to start blessing the valley with lights... Then the blankets start to bother and out there some vague noises whisper a "wake up and go"....

El aire tibio y húmedo de las mañanas de Septiembre, casi me obliga a despertarme y a ponerme de pie antes de que el sol venga y salude para comenzar a bendecir con luces al valle... Entonces las mantas comienzan a molestar y allá afuera algunos ruidos imprecisos susurran un "despierta y ve"...

It is enough to wake up and go out to wander leaving behind the lean and old streets... Then the valley is solidly drawn, but dressed in soft puffss of silent clouds. There miracles happen, you remember dead loves, you write lines in the wind, you listen to the voice of your ancestors and you feel that some angel observes you from his furtive flight between mists...

Basta espabilarse y salir a deambular dejando atrás las calles magras y añejas... Entonces el valle se dibuja sólido, pero vestido en tenues gajos de nubes silenciosas. Allí suceden los milagros, recuerdas amores muertos, escribes lineas en el viento, escuchas la voz de tus muertos y sientes que algún ángel te observa desde su vuelo furtivo entre nieblas...

Time is erratic, but a constant companion... Sometimes it walks backwards, but then it overtakes you and says: "it will happen"... Then you understand it, then it frees you and ties

El tiempo es errático, pero constante compañero... A veces camina de espaldas, pero luego va te sobrepasa y te dice: "ocurrirá"... Entones lo entiendes, entonces te libera y los apegos caen como hojas marchitas yendo a deshacerse.

Here it is easy to steal the poetry floating in the air like a swarm of butterflies with pearly wings, fragile, joyful... Then you carry those letters stored somewhere in the corner of your chest and slowly they make you different... Some call it delirium, but I usually call this "miracle"...

Aquí es fácil robar la poesía que flota en el aire como un enjambre de mariposas con alas anacaradas, frágiles, alegres... Entonces llevas esas letras guardadas en en algún rincón del pecho y lentamente te van haciendo distinto... Algunos lo llaman delirio, pero yo suelo llamar a esto "milagro"...

The sun arrives, has chased away the clouds and rises with his speech of lights... It is time to return, but having drunk enough magic to feel ethereal...

Llega el sol, ha espantado las nubes y se alza con su discurso de luces... Es hora del retorno, pero habiendo abrevado suficiente magia como para sentirse etéreo...
