Today I took a look through my archives for the recently completed month of August, I wanted to look at some photos which I may have overlooked and would like to share them. My first intention was to build a publication with photographs of diverse character and edit them in color. However, once I selected the first photo (the one of the pigeons taking flight in the street) it seemed to me that it was the "necessarily monochromatic" type of photo.... From then on everything flowed naturally and each of the photos I selected ended up being edited in black and white... Besides, today is Monday and it's a good occasion to use the hashtag #monomonday to share with you on #HIVE!

Hoy eché un vistazo en mis archivos del mes de Agosto recientemente terminado, quise mirar algunas fotos las cuales quizás pasé por alto y me gustaría compartirlas. Mi primera intención era construir una publicación con fotografías de carácter diverso y editarlas en color. Sin embargo, una vez seleccioné la primera fotografía (la de las palomas alzando el vuelo en la calle) me pareció que era el tipo de fotos "necesariamente monocromáticas"... De ahí en adelante todo fluyó de manera natural y cada una de las fotos seleccionadas por mi, terminaron siendo editadas en blanco y negro... ¡Además, hoy es Lunes y es una buena ocasión para usar la etiqueta #monomonday para compartir con ustedes en #HIVE!

On the other hand, today I woke up particularly "emotional" or should I say "wacky"?... So I ended up breaking a lot of my standards (or at least the "few standards I have") when editing these photos. So in an indiscriminate and almost random way, I exaggerated vignettes, cropped without rules, pushed contrasts beyond the usual and tried to generate more drama in the resulting images (I can barely go pee without "drama" anyway, so it's something that comes naturally to me).

Por otra parte, hoy me desperté particularmente "emotivo" ¿O debería decir "chiflado"?... Así que terminé rompiendo un montón de mis estándares (o cuando menos los "pocos estándares que tengo") al editar estas fotos. Así qué de una manera indiscriminada y casi aleatoria, exageré viñetas, recorté sin reglas, impulsé los contrastes más allá de lo acostumbrado y procuré generar más drama en las imágenes resultantes (de cualquier manera, casi ni puedo ir a orinar sin "drama", así que es algo que me sale natural hacer).

Something thanks to which I had even more fun editing these photos, was to put titles to each one of them, because those which I have placed today, are actually little "ideas" that have passed through my mind during the editing process. ;)

Algo gracias a lo cual me he divertido aún más editando estas fotos, fue el colocar títulos a cada una de ellas, pues esos los cuales he colocado hoy, son en realidad pequeñas "ideas" que han pasado por mi mente durante el proceso de edición. ;)

At the end of the day, I found it very pleasurable and content to create this publication with some photos accompanied by thoughts and in whose editing I once again let out that "intrinsic need" to edit as if I were painting with anarchy and with a certain "libertarianism" that makes me feel free... (Fuck, now I'm sounding weird, fortunately I'm finishing).

Al final del día, me resultó muy placentero y me contentó el crear esta publicación con algunas fotos acompañadas de pensamientos y en cuya edición una vez más dejé escapar esa "necesidad intrínseca" de editar como si estuviera pintando con anarquía y con cierto "libertinaje" que me haga sentir libre... (Carajo, ahora sí estoy sonando raro, afortunadamente ya estoy terminando).

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
