Most of the time, the simple act of going through the streets taking photos is, for me, a space of my own where, in some very crazy way, I am isolated from my surroundings and at the same time "anchored to my thoughts"... I have already said it many times before here on #Hive: For me, taking photos in the streets has a lot of introspection, of meditation, and sometimes I feel like relating this to a very particular kind of "yoga"... I could spend many hours writing about the various mental states I experience while taking photos and even while I am locked in my studio, in front of my PC, selecting, processing, and editing photographs like a possessed person... Of course, sometimes my mind can also be blank and I do all this like an automaton, while I am simply there practically thinking about nothing... And I think that because of all this, I write things next to my photos, because somehow what I write (and this post is no exception) goes as if "glued" to the photos themselves; then this hobby, which is already around two decades old and does nothing but grow, is certainly something good for me... And the streets, Ah, the streets!, the streets are the place where I feel most comfortable when all this catharsis occurs...

La mayoría de las veces, el simple hecho de ir por las calles haciendo fotos es para mí un espacio propio en donde, de alguna manera muy loca, estoy aislado de mi entorno y al mismo tiempo «anclado a mis pensamientos»... Ya lo he dicho muchas veces antes aquí en #Hive: para mí, hacer fotos en las calles tiene mucho de introspección, de meditación y algunas veces se me antoja relacionar esto con una especie de «yoga» muy particular... Yo podría pasar muchas horas escribiendo acerca de los diversos estados mentales que experimento mientras hago fotos e incluso mientras estoy encerrado en mi estudio, enfrente de mi PC, seleccionando, procesando y editando fotografías como un poseso... Claro, también algunas veces mi mente puede estar en blanco y hago todo esto como un autómata, mientras simplemente estoy allí, prácticamente pensando en nada... Y creo que por todo esto es que escribo cosas junto a mis fotos, porque de alguna manera lo que escribo (y este post no es una excepción) va como «pegado» a las fotos mismas; entonces esta afición, que ya ronda las dos décadas y no hace más que crecer, es para mí algo bueno ciertamente... Y las calles, ¡ah, las calles!, las calles son el lugar en donde más a gusto me siento cuando toda esta catarsis ocurre...
